Two-Faced Husband, Have Some Decency!

Chapter 62: Song Yu, the Design You Submitted Is Exactly the Same as Guanyu’s

”Alright, let’s put this behind us,” Director Zhao said as he patted Wang Liwei on the shoulder. ”Xiao Wang, don’t be too upset about this. Song Yu was too anxious and lost her judgment. It’s not uncommon. We’re all colleagues who will be working together in the future, let’s not be too petty.”

Wang Liwei whimpered before replying, ”Director Zhao, I want Song Yu to apologize for making false accusations against me!”

Director Zhao sighed and looked at Song Yu uncomfortably. ”Xiao Song, honestly, you didn’t handle this well. How about you apologize to Xiao Wang and in exchange, Xiao Wang will stop making a fuss about it. Both parties take a step back and reach a compromise. What do you think?”

Song Yu smiled coldly. She looked at the pretentious duo and started to pack up her belongings.

Director Zhao was horrified. He asked, ”Song Yu, what are you doing?”

”Director Zhao, don’t worry. Even if I were to resign, I’ll make sure that I’m named as the designer of Qilin’s hotel before I hand in my resignation letter. Since we can’t find the design diagram, I’m going to head home and focus on redrawing it. At least we don’t have to worry about my design diagram disappearing anymore. I won’t be coming into the office until I’ve submitted the design diagram.”

Song Yu packed up and made a copy of the data she worked on earlier before deleting everything from the computer. She took that extra step to prevent unwanted incidents from happening again.

Fortunately, she still had the data with her. She would not have enough time if she had to recalculate everything.

After packing up, Song Yu made her way out but was intercepted by Wang Liwei. ”Song Yu, don’t even think of leaving before you apologize to me!” Wang Liwei said as she gripped Song Yu’s arm.

Song Yu turned around and stared at Wang Liwei icily. Her icy gaze stunned Wang Liwei momentarily. ”Be grateful that you’re getting away with this. Don’t be too greedy.”

Song Yu’s icy gaze took Wang Liwei by surprise. She loosened her grip on Song Yu.

Song Yu shook off her hands and barged out of the office.

Director Zhao did not expect Song Yu to act on her words and left so suddenly. He felt embarrassed. Wang Liwei trailed behind Director Zhao and smirked at Ruan Danchen, as though she was saying, ’This is what you get for not playing by my rules.’

Ruan Danchen smiled icily. ”With people like you in the office, soon there will be no one good left here. No one will be able to put up with you.”

Ruan Danchen left after she spoke. Director Zhao’s face darkened.

…

…

Song Yu began to work on her design diagram. She received a call from Guan Xiaolin.

Guan Xiaolin asked her about her design diagram and told her that Guanyu submitted their design diagram.

Finally, Song Yu managed to submit the design diagram right before the deadline set by Qi Chengzhi.

However, a day after submissions, she received a phone call from Qi Chengzhi whilst she was in the office. ”Song Yu, the design you submitted is exactly the same as Guanyu’s.”
