All-Mighty Girl Gets Spoiled by A Bigshot

1160 Cancel the Engagement Between the Two Families

Fu Hanchuan chuckled. “Don’t forget, Old Master Fu, we’ve already cut off all ties. I have nothing to do with you anymore.”

“Fu Hanchuan!”

“Since you’ve failed to learn your lesson time and time again, I’ll have to remind you.”

Hearing this, Old Master Fu frowned. “What do you mean?”

“The engagement between the Ye and Fu families.” Fu Hanchuan’s entire body was exuding cold air. “Since when did my marriage be decided by you?”

Old Master Fu avoided his gaze. He felt guilty for a moment when he heard Fu Hanchuan’s question, but he was more angry at Fu Hanchuan for disobeying him time and time again.

He suppressed the anger in his heart and said very gently, “Is Yutong not good? She’s beautiful, has a good personality, and comes from a good family. Hanchuan, you might not understand now, but you’ll understand in the future. It’s best to marry a gentle and considerate woman who will be helpful to your career. Yutong is the best choice.”

“Hanchuan, your parents have said that if you marry Yutong, you’ll be in charge of the Ye Corporation. You see, the Ye Corporation is one of the top 30 companies in the country. It’s better than you being a small manager at the HD Group.”

“As for Qin Sheng, you like her, so you don’t have to separate from her. You can keep her as a mistress.”

Fu Hanchuan sneered. “Since you like her, you can go and marry her yourself. Fu Mingxu likes Ye Yutong, so I’m sure Fu Mingxu will be happy to get engaged.”

“You think I don’t want to? It’s because Yutong likes you!”

Fu Hanchuan looked at the time and saw that five minutes had passed.

He didn’t want to waste too much time on Old Master Fu, so Fu Hanchuan said expressionlessly, “This marriage is invalid. If you dare to publicize it, then the Fu Corporation, ha, will lose more than just two business contracts.”

He hung up the phone.

On Old Master Fu’s side, the busy tone came from the phone. He was so angry that his face was livid, and he casually threw the phone on the table.

“He’s indeed lawless!”

“Dad, what did Hanchuan say?” Fu Hongyi asked carefully.

Old Master Fu’s eyes darkened. “If he and Yutong are still married, he will continue to lay his hands on our company.”

“This Fu Hanchuan, I really regret giving birth to him!” Fu Hongyi clenched his fist and slammed it on the table.

Old Master Fu glanced at him and said, “If you didn’t beat and scold him, Fu Hanchuan wouldn’t have been taken back to the Lu family to be raised. Why would he be so close to the Lu family and treat the Fu family as his enemy? Fu Hanchuan is very talented in business. If he returns to the Fu family to work, the Fu Corporation will not decline.”

Fu Hongyi’s business talent was far inferior to Fu Hanchuan’s, and he often caused him trouble.

Old Master Fu regretted underestimating Fu Hanchuan’s abilities and forcing him to leave the company.

Fu Hongyi didn’t dare to refute.

He only muttered softly, “You didn’t stop me when I treated him like that back then, did you?”

Of course, he didn’t dare to let Old Master Fu hear these words.

“Dad, what should we do now? Are you really going to cancel the engagement?” Fu Hongyi frowned. “I’m afraid this will offend the Ye family. We have a lot of cooperation with the Ye family now. If they withdraw their cooperation, I’m afraid our company will be in a great crisis.”

Old Master Fu fell back onto the sofa. “Let’s wait for a while. I think the Ye couple is very satisfied with Mingxu. Let’s see if Mingxu has a chance to be with Yutong.”
