Chapter 239: Suicidal Charge at a Big-Sabered Guard

At this moment, Fang Qi lost interest in watching the fight between the newbies. He returned to his own computer and turned on the Legend of Mir 2.

Ruan Ning followed him and asked, ”Sir, is this game so powerful that it can increase one’s cultivation strength?”

She had watched the game and knew the value of the game wasn’t that one could kill people and get their items. Rather, it could increase people’s cultivation strengths as mentioned by Huang Shan.

For her, the fights were just additional benefits.

”Yeah,” Fang Qi answered casually, ”Didn’t you hear them?”

”Of course, I heard them!” Ruan Ning said with her hands on her waist, ”And I heard that the cultivation strength grows really fast in the game!”

”Although I don’t know what it is, I’m surprised that you took it out and let all the people use it in the shop!” Ruan Ning scolded him.

”Are you stupid?! Don’t you know that you can never show your wealth?! How dare you take it out casually?!”

”I understand your points and the principles!” Fang Qi said, ”Ms. Ruan, do you want to activate the Legend of Mir 2 and play it?”

Ruan Ning felt like she was going to explode since she couldn’t talk any sense into this guy as if she were playing piano to a cow.

”No! I don’t want to play!” Ruan Ning snorted, ”I won’t help you if someone tries to rob you!”

However…Another thought struck her.Since this kid could kill people from Black Demon, he must be quite strong…

”Forget it! It’s not my business, so it’s not my worry!” She went back to her own shop, and then she saw a sneaky figure in her shop. ”Hey! You dare to steal things from my shop?! I’ll kill you! Stop!”

…

In the System’s version of the Legend of Mir 2, there were no communication channels such as world channels or map channels. Instead, QQ was the only communication platform, and it allowed people to talk anywhere in the world.

At this moment, Fang Qi opened QQ and saw that Jiang Xiaoyue was still online.

[Xiaoyue, how about playing a fun game with Boss?]

[??…] Seeing a row of grinning squinting face emojis, Fang Qi felt weird.

”What the heck?!”

”Hahaha…” On the other side, Jiang Xiaoyue laughed so hard that she held her belly and couldn’t straighten her back.

[Boss, don’t you think that this emoji is funny? I feel like laughing whenever I see it!]

[Look at my grinning squinting ball! ?] Fang Qi sent her a funny face and asked. [Are you coming?]

[Which game?] Jiang Xiaoyue asked. [You mean the new game named the Legend of Mir 2? I feel like it’s not very special compared with others.]

[Well, I’ll play it then!] After all, it was a request from her boss.

[Good Xiaoyue. I’ll give you a bonus at the end of the month.] Fang Qi was happy that he recruited a loli so casually.

”Really?!” Jiang Xiaoyue almost jumped up with joy. The Legend of Mir 2 was quite different from Diablo. In Diablo, an individual player could enter the Hell Mode, but many places in the Legend of Mir 2 in the later stages were not accessible unless players went in teams.

Therefore, it was necessary for Fang Qi to pick teammates and establish a guild.

After entering the game, Fang Qi considered for a long while and finally chose the profession of warrior. Although it was average earlier on, it was a good choice in later PVP (player vs, player) battles.

Of course, he didn’t know how many changes the System had done with the new version, and he could only make the choice according to his previous memory.

[Boss, what profession do I choose?] Fang Qi had just created his character when he received a message from Jiang Xiaoyue.

”Choose Taoist.”

”Okay! I also think Taoist is cute!” On Jiang Xiaoyue’s screen, there was a pretty little girl in a white Taoist dress, and she had a bowtie on her head.

[I’ll choose this one!]

Soon, Fang Qi saw a pretty Taoist girl wearing a pale-grey cotton dress in the spawn village.

Fang Qi: ”…”

At this moment, more people entered the game, and Fang Qi saw Iron Rock Daoist and Zha Gu, the two guardians of the Huang Family, running out of the village.

”Brother Huang, where are you?”

”I don’t know!” After dying, he respawned into a strange small city. After leaving the city, all that he could see was the desert.

He didn’t know that the players who killed other players would respawn in the Red Name Village! This no-named small city was the Red Name Village in the upgraded version.
