[New task: A Bite in this New World

Task Target: Average of 250 activations for each episode of Wind and Cloud

Task Reward: Spicy Sticks (Latiao)

Task Description: Take a journey of food]

[TL Note: Latiao is a popular snack in China. The main ingredients are wheat flour and chili.]

Fang Qi was at a loss for words.

He was reluctant to take this task, which was given to him without warning since the average activation number per episode for Wind and Cloud was less than 100!

However, he had to take this task for the sake of the task reward.

The Seven Peak Competition was the first climax of Jade Dynasty, and all the previous episodes had been building up people’s anticipation and frustration. When the fans of Jade Dynasty watched Zhang Xiaofan win a match with poor talent, they were elated!

They had begun watching Jade Dynasty for the sake of the spiritual treasures, spiritual spells, and powerful sword techniques, but gradually they sank into the story.

”This main character is interesting…”

”Right! He’s far from Li Xiaoyao’s level, but he’s more like a main character now!”

”This episode is super cool!”

The two episodes released on Monday only covered a small part of the Seven Peak Competition, and the episodes released on Tuesday covered most of this big event. Su Tianji who had been preparing for the Counter Strike competition paused their training for the TV series.

By this time, the fans of Jade Dynasty had grown greatly.

In the morning, about 80% of the customers in the shop watched Jade Dynasty!

Comparatively, Wind and Cloud had much fewer watchers. As Nalan Hongwu said, the highest-level warriors in this TV series by now were only at the Grand Ancestral Warrior Realm, which couldn’t attract customers.

Except for the disciples of the academies and the story fans such as Dong Qingli, most people were busy preparing for the Competition, and they didn’t want to watch it!

This TV series was coming to the part where the battle between the Sword Saint and Xiong Ba was about to occur, but it only attracted the hardcore fans of the TV series such as Song Qingfeng and Liang Shi, the warriors of low levels.

Even the Royal Princess Ji Yu and the others who liked this TV series decided to postpone watching it.

As for the cultivators such as Su Tianji, Xue Daolv, and Lan Mo, they just didn’t watch a TV series purely about warriors. After all, warriors were weaker than cultivators until they reached the Emperor Warrior Realm.

However, it was only a small improvement since the seventh realm of warriors, Emperor Warriors, could only overpower the sixth realm of cultivators, Divine Ocean Realm. It was heard that some masters in the Three Saint Gates had reached the Divine Palace Realm, the seventh realm of cultivators.

They weren’t people whom Emperor Warriors could handle!

”Young Master Song! Are you going to watch Wind and Cloud today?” After watching Jade Dynasty, Lin Shao and Xu Luo were prepared to practice for the Counter Strike team competition when they saw Song Qingfeng clicking open Wind and Cloud.

”Are you going to practice your assassin character?”

”I’ll just watch for a little while; I’ll be fine!” Song Qingfeng waved his hand. ”I’m the No. 1 Assassin in this shop and have nothing to worry about!”

”Okay! Okay! We’ll go and play Counter Strike. Just make sure that you don’t mess it up!” Seeing that he was determined to watch it, Lin Shao and the others went on with their own businesses.

Song Qingfeng thought,There were two episodes yesterday and two today. Even if the plot is slow, the Sword Saint should appear.

With this thought, he began to watch Wind and Cloud.

Meanwhile, Liang Shi and his buddies were also watching it.

Soon they came to the part where Duan Lang took the Fire Scale Sword and Wu Ming tried to stop the Sword Saint from going to the battle.

”The Sword Saint looks old…”

”The Sword Saint is so old while Xiong Ba is in his prime. I have a bad feeling about this…”

The customers watching Wind and Cloud began talking among themselves, knowing that different from cultivators, the warrior’s old age would negatively affect their abilities.

”Will the Sword Saint be defeated by Union Master Xiong?”

For people like Liang Shi, the Grand Ancestral Warriors Realm was quite high, and they were fascinated by the combat techniques in Wind and Cloud.

Soon, they watched Wu Ming block the Sword Saint’s killing strikes with ease.
