Star Martial Era: The Way of Star Light Cultivation

Chapter 599: Chapter 247: Taking the Initiative to Attack_3

”How was it resolved?” the Emperor of Dachu pursued.

”Sumeru Palace’s Star Shifting Technique has made tremendous breakthroughs in recent years, and the Main Star Pattern has been derived beyond the Seventh Tier.

When the time comes, just by taking a strand of spatial coordinates, people from Sumeru Palace will be able to create a temporary star gate using the Great Star Shifting Technique, and each party will be able to send people to wage war.

The only drawback is that this temporary star gate can only last for seven days.

However, seven days are enough,” Grand Marshal Wei Xu declared.

With these words, there was a multitude of supporters.

Especially the current factions, all of whom expressed their support.

But to what extent they would act was another matter.

After all, the Galaxy Marshal Mansion only had the power to suggest and did not have much restraining influence over the current factions.

More accurately, the Galaxy Battlefield and the present world maintain a mutually dependent relationship, with no hierarchy between them.

It was under these circumstances that the Galaxy Marshal of the Galaxy Battlefield, Wei Xu, spoke again, ”The dangers of the present world are shared by all. But in this proactive assault, the intensities of each faction differ.

To maximize the strategic effect of this proactive assault,

I propose that we combine this offensive operation in the Star Domains with the upcoming Lougong Battle!

Let the results of this offensive for each faction in the Star Domains determine the rankings in the Lougong Battle, and decide the proportion of supplies that each faction must contribute to the Star-picking Tower.”

As soon as these words were pronounced, it was like a bombshell, instantly changing the expressions of the leaders of the current world factions.

The proactive assault that had been discussed earlier was just a strategy.

How it would be implemented still depended on how the factions arranged it.

Attacking and clearing out a Third-tier Star Domain counted as clearing, as did attacking and clearing out two, or attacking and clearing out a Fifth-tier Star Domain.

The intensity of each faction’s clearance would certainly vary.

The reason was simple.

During the Nine-star Tide, the star gates that descended upon the Star Domains of each faction were random.

Perhaps the Star Domains you, Dachu, cleaned out all descended within Dachen or Dahong, or even within the territory of the Barbarian Clan.

And it might happen that the Star Domain descending upon your Dachu territory was one you had not cleared out.

But by then, if Dachu’s main forces were substantially damaged in the proactive clearing operation, then Dachu would be in a tragic position.

This was the problem with the strategy of the proactive assault.

In the previous few hundred years, it wasn’t that no one had thought about this strategy.

The main issue had always been the lack of certainty.

Dachu could suffer significant casualties in clearing out several Star Domains, but in the end, if they all fell within the territories of Dahong or Dachen, and the Star Domains descending within my own territory were still uncleared,

Then that would be a huge loss.

Such events had really happened in the past.

Therefore, proactive assaults before the Star Tide were always more talk than action.

But now, combining it with the upcoming Lougong Battle, it was a different story.

Determining the amount of supplies to be contributed to the Star-picking Tower, that’s a substantial benefit!

Where interests lie, things are completely different!

”Now, let’s start voting on this proposal.”

In the next instant, following Grand Marshal Wei Xu’s proposition, almost immediately, the Domain Masters participating in the meeting, whether they were Fifth-tier, Sixth-tier, or the sole Seventh-tier Domain Master Cai Shu, each had a beam of Starlight rising above their heads.

A rising beam of Starlight signified agreement.

In the next instant, the gaze of all the Domain Masters was focused on the leaders of the present world’s powerhouses.

In an instant, it made the leaders of the present world’s powerhouses start to feel uncomfortable.

It felt a bit like being cornered!
