Mr Fu, I Really Love You

But when Uncle Blessing and Aunt Blessing came, they saw that Fu Huai’an and Lin Nuan were busy with the baby’s matters. They did almost everything they could handle by themselves and didn’t get the servants to help. Hence, Uncle Blessing didn’t get the chance to mention it to Fu Huai’an. Lin Nuan had also just finished her postpartum confinement… and Uncle Blessing felt bad adding to her trouble because of this matter!

Uncle Blessing had planned on discussing it with Fu Huai’an when he left. If Fu Huai’an didn’t wish to see Jiang Chengyuan, he could just give him a photo of the baby.

However, Uncle Blessing received a call from Jiang Chengyuan just now. The latter called and pressed about whether Uncle Blessing had spoken to Fu Huai’an. He had already arrived in Haicheng in order to see his granddaughter.

Upon hearing this, Uncle Blessing panicked and hurriedly stepped out to speak to Fu Huai’an about this. Though, he didn’t promise Jiang Chengyuan that he would definitely convince Fu Huai’an to let him see the baby!

But, seeing that they had guests, Uncle Blessing could only return to the guest room and talk later, when the guests had left.

Shortly after, Lin Nuan came downstairs. She arranged for snacks and tea to be brought to them, said hello, then went up with Fu Tianci because the latter asked to see the baby.

Lin Nuan was considered to have displayed a good upbringing. Back then, when she was in Fu Qingquan’s territory, Fu Qingquan had treated her like that. In the end, if Old Master Lin hadn’t stood out, he might have hurled all sorts of insults at Lin Nuan. To have come out personally and asked the servants to bring him tea was already a show of great respect to him. Fu Qingquan was clear of that.

…

Gu Qingcheng had drunk some alcohol today, but he wasn’t drunk, just a little tipsy.

He removed his suit jacket and tossed it aside, then unbuttoned his sleeve buttons. He leaned back in the backseat and closed his eyes to rest for a bit. The neon lights from the streets kept swiping over the car windows, illuminating the man’s mature and steady side profile one moment and making it indistinct the next.

The driver thought that Gu Qingcheng had fallen asleep and deliberately slowed down and stopped at the hotel’s entrance. He peered at Gu Qingcheng through the rearview mirror but saw that Gu Qingcheng had opened his eyes.

”Make a trip to the Cloud Top Condominium!” Gu Qingcheng said.

Fu Huai’an bought the top floor at the Cloud Top Condominium, whereas Gu Qingcheng bought the penultimate floor unit. The Cloud Top Condominium had top-notch security, so from the time Gu Qingcheng started planning for Yun Liuli’s future, he already had plans to give the condo unit to Yun Liuli…

Since it was for Yun Liuli, after the renovations were done, Gu Qingcheng didn’t really move in to stay.

Later, he made things clear with Yun Liuli. Although he had given the Cloud Top Condominium unit to Yun Liuli, he had been busy and hadn’t had the time to remove his fingerprints from the place. He planned to go there and get it done today.

The driver parked the car in front of the Cloud Top Condominium, then asked Gu Qingcheng if he needed him to go upstairs with him.

”No need…”

Gu Qingcheng said without any emotion, then closed the door. He put on his suit jacket and began walking towards the condo.

The men Gu Qingcheng sent to protect Yun Liuli said that Yun Liuli had never stayed overnight at the Cloud Top Condominium. She only placed her old belongings and things that she couldn’t bring to her hostel there. Since school started, she had been staying at the hostel, and they heard she got along quite well there.

The security guard at the entrance didn’t recognize Gu Qingcheng, so he stopped him. But seeing Gu Qingcheng’s low-profile and steady aura, his attitude was rather respectful. ”Sir, may I know which tenant you’re looking for?”
