Mr Fu, I Really Love You

”Previously, when Cen Mo and I came to Morocco, Cen Mo brought something from home that belonged to his deceased mother, his mother’s diary!” There wasn’t anything Song Yao couldn’t tell Lin Nuan, so she got to the point. ”When I was helping to sort out the items, I had no idea that it belonged to his mother. It wasn’t placed properly on the bookshelf and thus fell off. The diary’s lock broke, and something fell out of it. It was the paternity test done when Cen Mo was brought back to the Lu family…”

At this point, Lin Nuan could guess what was to follow…

”It indicated that Cen Mo wasn’t a biological son of the Lus!” Song Yao said after some difficulty. ”I saw Cen Mo’s mother’s diary. She said… back then, she and her husband had received the news of a child in a welfare center in Alabama in the United States who was of the same age as the child they lost. Although the boy could no longer remember the past, he remembered his surname was Lu! After all, there were very few Chinese people who went missing in the US, so it was a huge coincidence that the boy’s surname was Lu! They happily thought that they had found their son, so they rushed to Alabama in the US…”

Song Yao spoke slowly, and Lin Nuan listened attentively.

At that time, Old Master Lu was hospitalized because he was gravely ill from missing his grandson, and Cen Mo’s parents had been estranged since the boy went missing.

When Old Master Lu heard the news, his condition took a turn for the better immediately. He did all he could, cooperating with the doctor in his treatment, wanting to stay alive to see his grandson!

Even Old Master Lu and Old Madam Lu were certain that the child was their child. After all, it was indeed too much of a coincidence to find a boy who remembered his surname was Lu, and who was in America no less. It was so coincidental that one wouldn’t suspect it was otherwise.

Black hair, black eyes, Chinese heritage—the instant Lu Xiangsi’s mother saw Cen Mo, she couldn’t hold back her tears, hugging Cen Mo and sobbing out loud. Since the age and surname matched, next up would be a paternity test.

All those years, in order to find their missing child, the Lu family had spent too much time and energy!

Lu Xiangsi’s mother wrote in the diary that the first time she saw Cen Mo, she was surprised when she saw the unyielding gaze and tears in that child’s pure and clean eyes.

Especially the instant the child saw her. Seeing her, who had the same black hair, black eyes, and Chinese heritage as he did, that child seemed to subconsciously assume that she was his mother. There was a questioning look in his eyes, as well as sadness and yearning!

Her heart softened.

Lu Xiangsi’s mother said that she could actually sense that the child wasn’t her biological child. Her biological child was probably not alive anymore, she was just unwilling to say it out loud all those years…

Although she clearly knew the answer in her heart, Lu Xiangsi’s mother still carried a glimmer of hope and went ahead with the paternity test. Because, what if he truly was her child?

At that time, the outcome of the paternity test, even in America, would take three days to come out.

In those three days, the more Lu Xiangsi’s parents interacted with Cen Mo, the more they felt that Cen Mo was a resilient and bright child!

Especially those eyes of Cen Mo’s—they were so heartbreakingly pretty. He could also take care of his day-to-day living perfectly well, evident by his clothes. His clothes were older and more tattered than those of the other kids at the welfare center, yet they were cleaner.
