Mr Fu, I Really Love You

”Sister Nuan, I tell you, if I play this video, it would certainly fetch a high price. You didn’t see Zhang Ruomin and Peng Yanzhi’s mannerisms. If I didn’t know better, I’d have thought that Best Actress Zhang and Peng Yanzhi were lesbians!”

Mu Taotao kept her ears peeled and found out that Zhang Ruomin had been invited to appear on a variety show at Jinjiang TV Station. The show was taking place in the Jinjiang TV Station building today, and the assistant director of the variety show had just come over and said hello to the director of ”Talking with Lin Nuan,” saying that the theme of their show was treasure hunting, hence their guest might come over later. He asked for cooperation from the crew of ”Talking with Lin Nuan” and said they could choose to use the scene or edit it out after.

A newly popular TV starlet was acquainted with a megastar like the winner of the Best Actress Award. Then there was the fact that the two of them didn’t belong to the same agency yet behaved intimately like a couple. Mu Taotao’s nosy heart was tempted. She planned on seeking more information after she was done with Lin Nuan’s makeup.

Lin Nuan was rendered speechless.

Lin Nuan had never paid much attention to such gossip, but she was totally familiar with the name Zhang Ruomin.

That was especially so since Zhang Ruomin had proposed to Fu Huai’an at an award ceremony. Lin Nuan still sort of minded that…

Lin Nuan’s phone vibrated. Mu Taotao, who was fixing her hair, held a hair straightener in one hand and picked up Lin Nuan’s phone to hand it to her.

Lowering her head and seeing that it was a message from Fu Huai’an, she tapped on it.

’Fu Huai’an: What time will you be done with the show? I’ll pick you up so that we can eat together.’

Lin Nuan’s fingers grazed the edges of her phone, a smile ghosting the corners of her lips. She knew that Fu Huai’an was in Jinjiang today. She tapped her warm fingers against her phone.

’Lin Nuan: Zhang Ruomin, the winner of the Best Actress Award, is at Jinjiang TV Station to record a show today too. Aren’t you afraid of running into her?’

Lin Nuan had just locked her phone screen when the phone vibrated. She lowered her head and swiped her phone.

’Fu Huai’an: Jealous?’

Lin Nuan couldn’t resist laughing softly. She replied with a shaking head expression.

’Lin Nuan: Asking when you obviously know! By right, you should be pledging your allegiance to me now.’

Fu Huai’an responded incredibly quickly…

’Fu Huai’an: I’ll go to the set and pledge my allegiance in person.’

Lin Nuan smiled even more vibrantly. What little unhappiness she felt dissipated into thin air, and there was a sweetness in her heart.

”Sister Nuan, are you texting Mr. Fu? Looking at your expression, I can tell that the sugar content is very high!” Mu Taotao joked with Lin Nuan.

Lin Nuan didn’t deny it. Seeing Mu Taotao set down the hair straightener, she glanced at her wristwatch, shook the information papers resting on her lap, and got to her feet. ”I’ll go to the recording set and look for the guest to go through the questions with her…”

Mu Taotao placed the styling tools into the makeup box, then turned around and said to Lin Nuan, ”Okay, Sister Nuan, you can go with Sister Nainai first. I’ll go find out more information on this gossip before going over to watch your show recording!”

Lin Nuan had already reached the set. After waiting for ten minutes, she still didn’t see the guest appear. It was only five minutes from the start of the recording. If they still didn’t go through the questions now, they might not make it in time.

She was about to ask Miss Xia if the questions had been communicated with the guest’s manager when the director frowned and got someone to ask Peng Yanzhi to hurry over to go through the questions with Lin Nuan.

Lin Nuan sat in the show host’s position with a notebook laid open on her knees. She was holding a pen and writing something on the information papers in her delicate handwriting.

Peng Yanzhi arrived late in high-heel shoes and a light pink gown that was a little loose. She apologized to the director, then smiled sweetly as she sat down opposite Lin Nuan.
