Mr Fu, I Really Love You

The Assistant Director on the other end of the line rolled his eyes. Who didn’t know that Su Manman was fond of Best Actor Shi Hanchu? He was willing to bet a bag of spicy bars that Su Manman was here because of Shi Hanchu!

”Sis Manman, I beg of you!” The Assistant Director was almost in tears. ”This character is rather important, and I still need to hurry and find a man and a woman among the tourists to shoot a back view scene!”

Su Manman raised her gaze towards Lin Nuan and Fu Huai’an and said, ”A man and a woman? Perfect, I’m with Lin Nuan and her husband right now…”

Upon hearing that, his eyes sparkled. ”Really? Sis Manman, would you please ask them to come along and shoot a scene? If it’s Lin Nuan and her husband, we have to take a close-up shot! It’s Best Actor Shi Hanchu recalling the scene of his parents boarding the yacht when he was little. You can rest assured it’ll 100% be a close-up shot!”

”What a wonderful dream for you!” Su Manman carefully chose her tone of voice. ”Who doesn’t know that the first trailer of ’The Exorcist’ has been released? Lin Nuan’s stunning performance has made people eager to see more of her work. Moreover, add to that Lin Nuan’s husband, they have caused many waves on Weibo! In fact, they are still ranked on the popular charts! You’re trying to borrow the East Wind and making it sound like you’re doing them a favor…”

”Sis Manman, I’ll kneel before you, will that do?” The Assistant Director gritted his teeth. ”I’ll give the Best Actor’s room card to you!”

Su Manman played with her hair with that fair and petite hand of hers as she looked up. ”Okay, I can help you, but… I can’t speak for Lin Nuan and her husband!”

The Assistant Director nearly dropped to his knees and thanked Su Manman in tears.

After hanging up the call, Su Manman told Lin Nuan and Fu Huai’an about the Assistant Director inviting them to film a scene.

Fu Huai’an merely looked at Lin Nuan and said, ”Time to go back to the hotel…”

Su Manman was speechless.

How could such a brother exist? Time to wave bye-bye to him!

Lin Nuan said apologetically to Su Manman, ”We’re here for a vacation, and I really don’t feel like doing it. I’m sorry, Manman!”

Su Manman understood. She nodded before putting on her mask and tweed cap and calling the Assistant Director to come and pick her up.

Lin Nuan and Fu Huai’an watched Su Manman get into the car and were preparing to leave…

That Assistant Director fixed his eyes on Lin Nuan and Fu Huai’an, who had his hands in his pockets. Lin Nuan maintained a polite smile but kept her distance.

As for Fu Huai’an, he had an intimidating aura to begin with; with his hands in his pockets, and his cold and masculine facial features, he was clearly not one to be trifled with. The thin and frail Assistant Director dared not say anything, hurriedly climbing into the car and bringing Su Manman to the filming location.

”Let’s head back…” Fu Huai’an grabbed Lin Nuan’s petite hand, leading her along the shore as they walked back.

Lin Nuan’s other hand was hugging onto Fu Huai’an’s arm. Speaking in a low voice, she said, ”You were cold towards that cousin of yours!”

Hearing this, Fu Huai’an smiled and turned his dark and deep gaze towards Lin Nuan. His thin lips parted, and his mature and steady voice carried a smile in it as he said, ”It’s enough that I give my passion to one person—Mrs. Fu!”
