Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 548: She Can’t Be the Only One Enjoying All the Good Things on Earth!

Fu Tianci stood there, waiting for Fu Huai’an’s reply, but Fu Huai’an merely stared back at him quietly, making Fu Tianci all the more nervous.

”I wanted to say, why don’t we keep my mother’s share, and I’ll give the rest to you! Don’t… don’t leave the Kaide Corporation!” The usually sharp-tongued Fu Tianci suddenly found himself fumbling for words.

Fu Tianci felt uneasy; he had always felt like he was taking things that belonged to Fu Huai’an.

Today, when he heard Fu Huai’an announce that he was going on a long leave, he had originally not thought much of it. All these years, Fu Huai’an had been slogging away for the Kaide Corporation and never had a chance to properly take a break, so it was reasonable for him to want to take a break this time.

However, later, it was Mu Mantong who told him that Fu Huai’an abruptly announcing he was going to take a long vacation might not be so simple—Fu Huai’an might be leaving the Kaide Corporation for good!

Mu Mantong also told Fu Tianci that, all these years, the only reason the Kaide Corporation had been doing so well was that Fu Huai’an was around. While he was around, the people eyeing the Kaide Corporation dared not make a move, because they feared Fu Huai’an’s tactics!

After all, the Mu family had once been one of those who were eyeing the company!

She said that if Fu Huai’an really washed his hands of the company, those who had been eyeing the Kaide Corporation all along would jump on the opportunity. Therefore, before Fu Tianci became stronger, they must not let Fu Huai’an leave the Kaide Corporation.

Fu Tianci felt that what Mu Mantong had said was true, that without Fu Huai’an there, the Kaide Corporation wouldn’t be as successful today; hence, he believed that the Kaide Corporation belonged to Fu Huai’an, which was why he must not leave.

Recalling what Lu Qingmei said to him last night about Fu Qingquan dividing the shares into three, he couldn’t hold himself back and immediately rushed out to stop Fu Huai’an.

Fu Huai’an’s hands were in his pockets as he stared at Fu Tianci, unmoved.

Fu Tianci looked like he was in a difficult position. ”She’s my mother. She’s very pitiful… so I have no choice!”

”Fu Tianci.” Fu Huai’an’s deep voice had a sense of authority and had the effect of comforting a person. He gazed at Fu Tianci in his capacity as his senior, then slowly said, ”You’re no longer a kid, the transfer of shares isn’t child’s play! You think that your mother is pitiful, but what about Old Madam Fu? In her younger days, her body suffered after giving birth to Old Master Fu’s daughter, and she could no longer give birth anymore. In her middle age, she lost her daughter. And in her older days… she fell out with her husband. She even had to give away the Kaide Corporation that she painstakingly built up with him to another woman.”

Fu Tianci was pale. He admitted he was a selfish person and that he had indeed not considered Old Madam Fu.

”What right does your mother have to obtain the shares of the Kaide Corporation which Old Madam Fu and Old Master Fu painstakingly built up? Did Old Madam Fu work her entire life in order to give it all up to your mother?”

Fu Huai’an’s voice was calm and peaceful, but Fu Tianci’s heart thundered against his chest as he listened to him speak. He felt so ashamed that his face and ears had turned red.

”After snatching away someone’s husband and destroying the rest of that person’s life, she’s still going to steal away the fruits of their lifetime of work. She can’t be the only one enjoying all the good things on earth just because she’s your mother!”

Fu Tianci’s head was bowed, and his eyes were very red. It was as if he were a child who had done something wrong.

This was the first time Fu Huai’an had said so much to Fu Tianci.

”Back then, if your mother didn’t make use of you to snatch away Old Madam Fu’s husband, then… since she had birthed a son for Old Master Fu, if she had merely asked for some compensation, it wouldn’t have been a problem.” Fu Huai’an looked at the child before him, and his heart softened. ”You can go back and ask your mother to make a choice between Old Master Fu and the shares of the Kaide Corporation. I’ll give her time…”

Fu Huai’an spoke confidently, as if the Kaide Corporation was already a fly in his web.

Looking at the depressed-looking Fu Tianci, Fu Huai’an ultimately raised his hand and patted Fu Tianci’s shoulder before turning around to leave.
