Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 287: Who Could Beat Brother Fu at His Own Game?

Fu Huai’an had been abstinent over the years, and there were no indecent women around him. The Gu Family had long assumed it was because of his son.

Hence the agreement stated that in light of Fu Huai’an’s son’s needs, Fu Huai’an would tell his son that Gu Hanyan was his biological mother. If Gu Hanyan moved into Tian Fuwan then suddenly changed her mind and refused to marry Fu Huai’an, then the Gu Family would have to offer 30% of its shares as compensation. That was acceptable to them.

For the sake of the child, such harsh conditions were somewhat understandable. Let alone the fact that Fu Huai’an was a studious lawyer and always spoke frankly, signing agreements wasn’t a big deal.

Moreover, the agreement also stated if they got divorced for valid reasons instead of cases like Gu Hanyan cheating on him, Fu Huai’an would pay for all the living expenses of Gu Hanyan and the child and 5% of Kaide’s shares. On the contrary, if the Gu’s divorce was due to a smoking derailment, Gu needed to compensate Fu Huai’an with 20% of the Gu’s shares.

Comparing Gu’s 20% stock share with Kaide’s 5% stock share, it was quite a difference. The Gu family happily agreed to it.

While the agreement was unfair to Gu Hanyan, as long as she was pregnant was Fu Huai’an’s child, she would have financial support even if she got divorced.

Moreover, the Gu family also hoped that Gu Hanyan and Fu Huai’an would get married well and have a good life together. In the future, Fu Huai’an’s inheritance of Kaide would support the Gu family. Naturally, they wouldn’t let Gu Hanyan and Fu Huai’an separate so easily.

But a few days before the engagement, Gu Hanyan and her friends went to the nightclub to celebrate. They met Fu Huai’an’s friend, Lu Jinnan, who was also drinking in the night club.

Gu Hanyan was planning to go up and say hello until she overheard the drunk Lu Jinnan. He mentioned Fu Huai’an had never had a woman around for so many years. It wasn’t because Fu Huai’an was abstinent, but rather because Fu Huai’an was no longer ”competent”!

Gu Hanyan stopped midway and listened intently in the dim light.

Lu Jinnan said, ”Brother Fu had too many flings with women in his young days and compromised his health—he can’t have children anymore!”

Someone asked Lu Jinnan, ”Isn’t Mr. Fu engaged to the daughter of the Gu Family? Then, the Gu Family doesn’t know that?”

Lu Jinnan shook his head and flashed a mysterious smile. He lit a cigarette and said, ”How could they be aware of that?”

”Gosh! Then isn’t this deceiving them into marriage? If you do get married and the Gu Family finds out later on that he can’t have children of his own… won’t they sue? Even if he has never lost a case before, surely he can’t win a case like that?”

Lu Jinnan snickered and flicked his cigarette. He spoke condescendingly, ”Do you think brother Fu is an idiot? As a past lawyer, he definitely has brains! Elder Fu asked the Gu family to sign an agreement with him. After the engagement, the Gu family’s pampered little girl moves into Elder Fu’s home to have children. The wedding ceremony could only take place when she was pregnant. In the meantime, if the Gu Family no longer wants to marry her husband, the Gu company needs to compensate 30% of the shares!”

The person who was talking to Lu Jinnan was visibly shaken. He lowered his voice and said, ”The Gu family holds only 45% of the shares of the Gu Group in its hands!”

Lu Jinnan nodded and smiled in the most patronizing manner. ”So, who could beat brother Fu at his own game?”

Gu Hanyan stood in the corner, her heart pounding.
