Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 253: Chu Xun Felt Lin Nuan Was Manipulative

Chu Xun’s long black fringe was neatly parted, and her hair was tied into a low ponytail. Her beautiful mature makeup made her look neat and capable.

She wore a neat white suit and a formal skirt with her sleeves rolled up to her elbows, revealing two slender, white arms. Her suit placket was open, showing the delicate texture of the light blue v-neck shirt inside.

Miss Xia and Lin Nuan walked into the door and saw Chu Xun putting back a slender long lady’s cigarette back into the metal cigarette case. Her elegant and smooth movements turned slightly stiff once she saw LIn Nuan behind Miss Xia.

Chu Xun put down the metal cigarette case in her hand and exchanged looks with Lin Nuan and Miss Xia. With one hand propped up against the office table, her fingers quickly entered the computer password on the keyboard.

”Have I not made myself clear?” Chu Xun asked in a cold voice.

Lin Nuan knew that Chu Xun and Fu Huai’an knew each other, as well as Chu Xun’s feelings towards Fu Huai’an. Lin Nuan felt uneasy inside as she was facing her superior.

Lin Nuan’s understanding of Chu Xun came primarily from the internet. Yet judging from what Lin Nuan saw, Chu Xun undoubtedly had an intimidating and capable presence. She looked shrewd and hard to talk to.

”Director…” Miss Xia grabbed Lin Nuan’s wrist and stood before the table. ”It wasn’t Lin Nuan who got someone to delete the post—she isn’t that stupid.”

Chu Xun looked up, her dark eyes radiating a sternness. ”I don’t care for the process—I need to see the results!”

Chu Xun then glanced towards Lin Nuan, and her tone was calm yet cold. ”You can solve this matter, no matter what it takes. If not, the show will change the host. This is the typical norm of TV stations… I think you should understand.”

Without waiting for her to answer, Miss Xia spoke first. ”Director! The greatest taboo for a rising show is to change the host! Looking at it from another angle, since Lin Nuan is so popular now, I believe that in the next program, our viewership will continue to rise!”

Miss Xia bet on it because she knew according to the general treatment of TV stations, Lin Nuan’s potential career development in Haicheng television station would be dismal.

”I’ll give you three days; if you can’t take care of it within three days, you can go back to being the host of your music program,” Chu Xun said in a formal matter and looked towards the empty computer screen.

”I’m not sure what your definition of taking care of it is. Do you only want this rumor to subside, or do you want me to get this show out of this scandal unscathed, or do you have any other particular end-goals in mind?” Lin Nuan asked seriously since Chu Xun hadn’t made herself clear.

Chu Xun looked up at Lin Nuan and didn’t see any provocative meaning in her eyes. If she got agitated just because of what Lin Nuan said, it would make her look like the lesser person.

Chu Xun stood up and leaned against the table, drumming on it with her fingers. At that moment, she herself couldn’t think of what result would be satisfying to her.

She said it herself; she didn’t care for the process and only wanted the results.

Chu Xun recalled how she once heard Lin Nuan had a fallout with a makeup artist when she first landed on ”Morning News”. The makeup artist then ratted out Lin Nuan, which prompted Lin Nuan to smack her in the face without saying a word.

Chu Xun subconsciously felt Lin Nuan was manipulative.

Comments left by netizens filled the show’s official Weibo page. They were all accusing Lin Nuan, and some even requested the show change the host.
