Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 202: Fu Huai’an Seldom Called Tuan Tuan by His Full Name

Lin Nuan bent down and carried Tuan Tuan.

His soft and chunky frame nested in Lin Nuan’s embrace, his hands curled tightly around her neck and his head lying on her shoulder. His eyes were red and looked as though he had suffered some grievances.

Tuan Tuan’s baby scent touched Lin Nuan’s heart. She propped up his little butt with one arm and cradled Tuan Tuan with the other arm. She let him hug her like a koala hugging a tree.

Tuan Tuan had to suppress how much he had been missing Mama. He discreetly wiped his tears with Lin Nuan’s blouse and straightened himself. With his pudgy hands still wrapped around her neck, he turned his head to look at Fu Huai’an, as if he was afraid Fu Huai’an would be angry.

Fu Huai’an’s arms were still crossed. He was wearing a crisp light blue shirt and dark blue vest under his unbuttoned suit. He exuded an air of calm sophistication and a strong sense of power.

He saw that Lin Nuan was still dressed in the same outfit as the day before. Despite the cold weather, she was wearing a short skirt and white shoes, revealing her fair, straight, and long legs. He guessed she didn’t return home. He looked at Lin Nuan with his piercing eyes without betraying any emotions.

Still carrying Tuan Tuan, Lin Nuan felt perturbed. Seeing that Tuan Tuan was looking in Fu Huai’an’s direction, she carried him and walked towards Fu Huai’an despite feeling awkward at seeing him again after the previous day’s incident.

Lin Nuan thought about what Lin Chen and Lin Jingquan were talking about before. Should they be engaged in a lawsuit, maybe if… Fu Huai’an took on the case, perhaps… they might have a chance of winning?

At the very moment the thought popped into her head, Lin Nuan’s eyes met Fu Huai’an’s profound gaze. She became flustered and didn’t know where to look so she pretended to look at her feet.

It was apt to say that she had a guilty conscience at that moment.

One moment she wanted to have nothing to do with Fu Huai’an, and at the next moment, she was already thinking of getting him to help. That would most definitely make her seem devious and scheming.

When Lin Nuan carried Tuan Tuan back to Fu Huai’an, Tuan Tuan immediately held on tightly to her neck, his large eyes peering at Fu Huai’an. He was afraid that Fu Huai’an might be angry, or even worse, that he might try to take Tuan Tuan away.

”Fu Tuan Tuan, come down.”

Fu Huai’an did not raise his voice, nor was he speaking sternly, but Tuan Tuan was afraid.

Fu Huai’an seldom called Tuan Tuan by his full name. Tuan Tuan froze momentarily, his eyes welled up. His small hands clutched Lin Nuan’s blouse at her nape, and he looked as if he was about to burst into tears.

”My filming doesn’t start until late afternoon. I can babysit Tuan Tuan now.” Lin Nuan had to force herself to say it as she couldn’t bear for Tuan Tuan to be unhappy.

”Miss Lin, Sir has to bring young master to meet old Lady Fu.”

Fu Huai’an’s assistant smiled and said candidly as she was somewhat acquainted with Lin Nuan.

Lin Nuan finally realized the reason. Old Lady Fu must have been Fu Huai’an’s elder.

She tilted her head towards Tuan Tuan, who was still holding on tightly to her neck and tried her best to coax him. ”Tuan Tuan, why don’t you go with Papa to meet this elder first? I will accompany you once I’m done with my work. How about that?”

Tuan Tuan held back tears. With one arm still around Lin Nuan’s neck, he used the other arm to wipe his teary eyes. Tears coated his lashes, he was sniffling, and he remained silent while his forefinger twiddled with the buttonhole on Lin Nuan’s coat.

”Come here…”

Fu Huai’an reached out his arms to carry Tuan Tuan. He held Tuan Tuan by the underarm and took him from Lin Nuan’s grasp.
