Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 191: Wen Moshen Was Confessing to You on the Show!

Gu Hanyan choked on her tears as she spoke before she couldn’t continue anymore. She was evidently crying heavily from the sound of her voice, and she raised her hand to cover her lips as she tried to calm down, then opened her mouth again…

”But… But I really didn’t think that Moshen would make it back. If I knew, I definitely would’ve stayed strong and waited on! I feel that I’m especially dirty and I’m not good for Moshen, but when I told him about it, he didn’t find me disgusting. I really love Moshen… I can’t live without him! Perhaps in your eyes, I’m a really dirty woman. I, too, think that I’m dirty, but even so, I still can’t leave Moshen.”

Gu Hanyan’s words touched the hearts of many who found her pitiful.

Amongst the audience, someone started to quietly discuss how Gu Hanyan’s fiancé was Fu Huai’an, the wealthy man titled as the man the women in Haicheng wanted to marry the most.

At the thought of how Gu Hanyan rejected such a good potential partner, they felt that she probably truly loved Wen Moshen to the extreme, only falling to the darkness in hopelessness because she thought he was no longer in the world.

”Everyone has times when they commit mistakes. If this mistake was to be done by a man, there probably wouldn’t be so many people scolding and cursing them. This world is always too harsh on women.” Lin Nuan said as she faced the sobbing Gu Hanyan. With the attitude of a professional host, she calmly said, ”Then, Mr. Wen, are you forgiving Gu Hanyan more for love or more from being touched?”

As a close friend of Wen Moshen, Lin Nuan’s question was indeed overboard…

But as an MC, it was a necessary question for Lin Nuan to ask.

It wasn’t that Lin Nuan was such a saint she would help make Gu Hanyan look innocent; she simply didn’t want for Wen Moshen to be dragged down by one Gu Hanyan.

Wen Moshen maintained his light smile and spoke relaxedly, but bleakness still bled through his gentle voice as he said, ”When I returned after so many years, I found that everything I once was so familiar with changed completely, only Gu Hanyan remained. At that time… Was there a difference between love or being touched?”

Wen Moshen’s eyes were deep, and his gaze focused on Lin Nuan was completely serious. It held silent words that Lin Nuan understood at sight.

”Mr. Wen, are you willing to describe for us the person you once loved? This person you’ve loved… Are they married?”

The lady who had asked Wen Moshen the earlier question continued holding the microphone and pressed on with her questions—as though she was purposefully trying to attack Gu Hanyan.

Upon hearing the question, Wen Moshen removed his gaze from Lin Nuan’s.

Without waiting for Wen Moshen to reply, Gu Hanyan held up the microphone still in her tight grasp and said, ”About the lady Moshen once loved, I’m more familiar with their story than anyone else. The lady he loved was an extremely kind lady, and we used to be very close friends.”

After Wen Moshen shifted and adjusted his posture, he spoke gently, ”It’s all in the past, there’s no need to mention it again.”

…

After the program ended, Lin Nuan was sitting in the waiting room and familiarizing herself with the information for the interview with Su Manman in the afternoon. Suddenly Bai Xiaonian flurried in through the door.

”Did you hear Wen Moshen’s words on the show just now?” Bai Xiaonian asked hurriedly the moment she entered.

Lin Nuan flipped over another page of the papers, and she glanced at Bai Xiaonian as she calmly replied, ”Talk after you’ve closed the door.”

Bai Xiaonian closed the door and with an excited heart, and continued, ”A rather large age gap, with a fiancé. No matter how I think of it, you’re the only one who fulfills these conditions! Nuan… Wen Moshen was confessing to you on the show! Don’t you have any thoughts about it?”
