Mr Fu, I Really Love You

Chapter 182: Pretending You Don’t Know Me Anymore Once You Pull up Your Skirt?

”I haven’t finished speaking; what are you running for?” Fu Huai’an spoke, his deep voice not concealing the authority in its tone. ”Close the door!”

Lin Nuan couldn’t win against Fu Huai’an so she could only shut the car door and say with her gaze lowered, ”Let go of me first.”

Fu Huai’an let go of Lin Nuan and said, ”It was my negligence this time. Don’t eat birth control pills next time; I’ll make sure to take measures.”

Lin Nuan’s ears burned, and she felt so embarrassed that she was fidgeting in her seat.

She frowned, wanting to say that there would be no next time, but once the words reached the tip of her tongue, she experienced a fresh round of internal conflict, so she chose to keep quiet.

After a slight pause, Fu Huai’an continued, ”Just eat the pill once more 12 hours later, but no more, it’s not good for your body.”

Lin Nuan had already read the instructions and knew about it, but she simply went along and nodded her head.

Fu Huai’an saw Lin Nuan glance at her wrist-watch frequently, so he kept the words he wanted to say to himself and decided to let her go, saying, ”Go on…”

Lin Nuan pushed the car door open and placed one foot on the ground. Once she maintained a safe distance from Fu Huai’an, she turned her head and told him, ”Mr. Fu, do you really think you can give me the ordinary and peaceful life I want?”

After that, Lin Nuan didn’t give Fu Huai’an a chance to speak, instead, closing the car door and walking away quickly towards the building.

Fu Huai’an watched Lin Nuan’s escaping back after she exited the car. He hesitated for a moment before he too exited the car.

”Lin Nuan.”

Fu Huai’an called Lin Nuan’s name in a serious tone.

His voice was mature and deep, sounding like it could seep through a person.

Lin Nuan paused mid-step, her heart about to beat out of her chest.

A mature and handsome man driving a luxury car parked at the entrance of the broadcasting building was undoubtedly eye-catching. Furthermore, Fu Huai’an’s strong aura was hard to miss.

Fu Huai’an wore a black blouse and suit without any tie, so his jacket was left open. His neat blouse had the top few buttons unbuttoned, his good figure showing slightly under the material.

The man was tall with long legs that showed in his stiff pants, and he had both hands casually in his pockets as he stood beside the car. His dark eyes stared straight at Lin Nuan’s back, and his brows furrowed slightly. His outstanding facial features clearly displayed his unhappiness, and he looked as though he was controlling his anger.

Lin Nuan saw that some people were already looking towards her with the ”Lin Nuan” Fu Huai’an had called out. Not wanting to let other people mistake her and talk about her, she could only turn towards Fu Huai’an. As she watched the man walk towards her, Lin Nuan’s grip on her bag tightened.rip on her bag tightened.

It was a day with clean and cool winds, but Lin Nuan felt as though her palm was burning hot and had a thin layer of sweat on it.

On the huge screen in front of the Block A building was Lin Nuan’s beautiful light smile from the promotional video of ”A Sunday Date”, forming a sharp contrast to the panicking Lin Nuan at that moment.

Fu Huai’an stood firmly in front of Lin Nuan. Seeing how she lowered her gaze and tried to avoid meeting his, he lowered his voice and said, ”Pretending you don’t know me anymore once you pull up your skirt?”

The man’s shameless words made Lin Nuan’s face redden in an instant.

Lin Nuan was no longer the innocent girl who hadn’t entered society; she understood Fu Huai’an’s words.

A few years ago, a line trended online, ”Heartlessly pluck oneself out, pretending not to know her once you pull your pants up.”

When Lin Nuan had heard it at that time, she had found it funny. But after Fu Huai’an had changed the words and used it on her, she felt no humor, only nervousness; he said it as though she took advantage of him.

Lin Nuan resisted the heat in her cheeks and tried to raise her head righteously to meet Fu Huai’an’s gaze, but once she looked into his eyes, she panicked and looked away once more with furrowed brows.
