My Cell Prison

‘The events’ refer to the upgrade ceremonies arranged by the Mountain Craft Workshop, and even before ascending to the small Saint Grade, there are still two things to do.

1. Create the Heart: Removing the heart that has shown the mark of the path, using the top artifacts to create the [Heart of Craftsman].

2. Body Forging – Using a lifetime of skills to create a “Substitute” that meets standards.

After completing the above two points, one is officially recognized by the Mountain Craft Workshop and becomes a craftsman.

The process in between is even more complicated than what I’ve described. It involves various types of tests and selections, and even requires going to some secret realms for training… This is what you wanted to know about Seekers, Craftsmen, and Substitutes.

Craftsmen have a grading system similar to ours, divided into five major stages.

Or rather, the “stages” are the same in every world, all related to the Truth.”

After hearing this, Han Dong immediately fell into deep thought.

As an old hand who had dealt directly with multiple Old Kings, he felt no pressure when facing the Black Night Priest.

After a moment of thought, he directly expressed his thoughts:

“Thank you, Priest, for clarifying.

Their world system, which allows individuals ample freedom of choice, specialized training, and strict discipline and rules.

It’s like a world specifically created to cultivate strong individuals, or perhaps a world specifically manufactured to target our Demons.

But it does have flaws…”

“Oh?” Han Dong’s remark piqued the Priest’s interest. “What flaws?”

“In my view, even though such events have occurred in London City… in terms of loyalty and will, Demons are surely superior to these craftsmen.

Demon development, though seemingly chaotic, is actually based on an absolute adoration of the individual Old Kings, a kind of adoration that borders on madness, without any hesitation, not only willing to gaze into the Abyss but even to jump into and embrace it, pursuing this adoration to the extreme.

I believe this is something these craftsmen pursuing Saint Grade can’t achieve.

In terms of numbers, in the Holy Level World, where freedom and standardization of training are practiced, there may be more craftsmen than Demons, and even the overall quality and foundation of strength might be better.

However, when it comes to true elites, our side definitely has more.”

Han Dong’s explanation not only expressed his viewpoint but also had another purpose.

While expressing this sort of comparative statement about the worlds (biased toward the Demon World), he observed the Black Night Priest’s expressions to ascertain the Priest’s true stance.

The Priest gave a weird smile, briefly commenting, “Not bad, you are indeed very special.”

With that, the Black Umbrella moved aside.

The darkness enveloping Han Dong was removed as well.

The match on the platform had just ended, without any suspense… The true form of the White Rimu was chopped into minced meat by the Butcher, and all these pieces were absorbed by him.

But due to the Worm’s vitality.

Rimu allowed a Worm Tentacle to detach from the main body early and fall out of the ring, seeking survival.

But it was already extremely weak, and participating in subsequent upgrades was probably impossible.

Who knew, Butcher Lu had no intention of letting him go, even though falling out of the ring signified the end of the match.

As Lu, with his pig-headed Substitute, was chasing out of the ring,

A young man with a thick goatee suddenly blocked his path… Unable to stop due to his sprinting speed, Lu, along with his pig-headed Substitute, crashed directly into him.

Despite being a Butcher weighing over 400 pounds of solid flesh, along with the pig-headed Substitute connected to his belly, they were both flung out, taking a hard fall…

Yet the young man he crashed into remained unmoved, looking at him with a cold gaze.

Smelling a hint of danger, Lu did not pursue further.

Given that he had already depleted much energy in the long match and had won the match, there was no need to take further risks.

As Lu left, he threw out a tough statement: “I’m merely the weakest in our team, barely sparing this Worm a chance to live… As for you, you will surely be completely killed by my companions.”

The goateed young man didn’t respond to him but overflowed with absolute confidence and even a premature smile of victory. As the main champion of the Demon Team, he ascended the stone stair platform.
