Young Master Qin Keeps Coveting Me After I Beat Him Up

Penghao108: [Looking at the script, the radiant moon immortal lord’s scenes are reasonable and necessary. There’s no filler scenes. It’s a very important part of the whole plot. @Li Guangshu, tell us, why did you delete it?]

[At first, I thought it was the screenwriter’s fault. I even scolded the screenwriter for writing such a lousy script. It turns out that it was the director’s fault for editing the script terribly!]

[If we broadcast the script, I can’t say it’ll be a hit, but it’ll be a good one. @Li Guangshu, do you have a grudge against the platform? Do you not want to be famous or make a good drama?]

At this moment, the screenwriter of this drama, Zhao Siting, also posted on Weibo, showing his manuscript.

Zhao Siting: [There have been viewers questioning my script these days. They think that I didn’t write the character well. Seeing @Jiang Xun Jiang’s Weibo post today, I decided not to be silent anymore. I can’t take the blame. The script that Teacher Jiang Xun sent out is the same as the one I wrote. I put a lot of emotion into every character. My original intention of writing this script is to express that there is no absolute good person, and there is no absolute bad person. The radiant moon had darkened, but is she bad? No. In the beginning, she was an immortal lord who clearly distinguished between good and evil. In order to fight against the demon race, she always took the lead. Even after she joined the demon race, she did not lead the demon race to slaughter the the immortal race. If the director can film and edit according to the script I wrote, the audience will see a radiant moon demon lord who is fair and independent despite leading the demons.

The demons under the radiant moon demon lord’s leadership stopped massacring and attacking other people’s territories. Instead, they stayed in The demon realm. Although the emperor and Xuan Ying are the male and female leads I wrote, what I want to express is that the male and female leads are not necessarily good people. Their relationship was built on the foundation of hurting and betraying the radiant moon, and they are not the typical male and female leads.

I’ve been in the industry for many years and have been trying. Every character I’ve written in this drama can’t be simply distinguished by good or evil. They all have shortcomings, but they all have strengths. The emperor had betrayed radiant moon, and he was a scumbag when it came to relationships. However, he did not do anything wrong in the name of righteousness. He was a qualified emperor. That’s what I wanted to express. If it’s presented according to the script I wrote and the audience don’t accept it and will scold me, I’ll accept it. But I can’t accept that you changed or deleted my script, causing the audience to scold me. This isn’t a mistake that I should bear the responsibility for. I may not be a very successful screenwriter, but I’m not so bad that I can’t even write the most basic story. @Li Guangshu, I also need an explanation from you, the director.]

[No, great screenwriter, you wrote very well. You’re right, there’s no absolute good or bad in the characters you’ve written.]

[What a pity. I want to see the version that’s made according to your script, not a cut, emasculated, illogical, and unstrung version. ]
