“See something back there?” the black gentleman couldn’t help asking curiously.

Luo Qiu merely smiled. “Nothing anymore, looks like it’s already wrapped up.”

Wrapped up?

Nick frowned slightly and instinctively checked the right rearview mirror himself… but on the street behind them, aside from the destruction visible everywhere, there wasn’t a single human figure to be seen.

Looked like the evacuation work had gone fairly well?

He kept feeling this young magician’s background was far too irregular… the same went for Miss Beastkin.

“Right, that companion of yours… that Lady Septcolor Geranium, where is she?” Nick asked in a seemingly casual tone.

“Her?” Boss Luo said offhandedly, “Seems she went to see her student.”

“Student?” Nick started, then understood. “Oh… that lady’s student ran into danger?”

Perhaps in this riot, they were caught in peril, and for a teacher to go to the rescue was the most natural thing in the world.

“There’s a bit of trouble, yeah, just a little.” Luo Qiu smiled. “But dealing with people’s troubles is exactly what we do.”

The truck suddenly slammed on the brakes—not because that answer made him react like that, but because right in front of the truck, someone had made a stop gesture!

It was a Knight, a Knight from the Agency!

Ahead, a squad of ten or so Knights had appeared, and among them was a young man in a doctor robe.

“Bedivere!” Nick cried out in surprise—the name of that doctor.

“That’s Bedivere, one of our Round Table Organization’s Twelve Knights! Not just a Knight, but also a highly skilled surgeon.”

The young doctor… Bedivere now had both hands in the pockets of his white robe, looking straight at Nick and Luo Qiu through the truck’s windshield.

The sudden braking made Klein hurry out of the rear compartment—these two trainee Knights and support personnel, who had been roaming on their own halfway, were finally linking up with the main force here.

“You’re Klein? I’ve heard your name—you’re Gareth’s student, right? One of the candidates for the next Inheritance.” The doctor calmly looked at Klein and nodded—he had no particular impression of Nick.

After all, he wasn’t the Round Table guardian of the Fog Capital Knight Agency.

“Sir Bedivere, why are you here… It doesn’t look like there was any fighting here?”

Klein looked around at this time; there were no traces of a recent battle, and there were no controlled Beastmen by Bedivere and the others’ side either.

He only heard Bedivere explain, “I was originally in charge of evacuating the crowd. But the area I was responsible for has pretty much been cleared… This time, I came here specifically to wait for you.”

“To wait for us?” Klein and Nick both opened their mouths in surprise.

Bedivere nodded. “The fact that you successfully used a sound-type Magic Technique to hypnotize the Frenzied Beastmen has already been reported back. The two Elders of the Birmingham Knight Agency and the Edinburgh Knight Organization in charge of commanding this suppression operation gave me the order to come and assist you.”

“So that’s how it is…” Klein nodded, though what he found strange in his heart was—why wasn’t Sir Pukins the overall commander of this operation?

Maybe the Sir had more important things to do… Klein didn’t think too much about it; Bedivere’s appearance was naturally a huge pleasant surprise for him.

“So, this is the free magician proficient in sound magic?” Bedivere once again looked at the person in the front passenger seat.

The moment their gazes met, Luo Qiu merely nodded to Sir Bedivere and showed a friendly smile.

“He’s not.” Nick quickly said at this time, “He and another Secret Artisan who calls herself ‘Septcolor Geranium’ are civilian Righteous Warriors who joined us halfway. The one who can sing is still in the container.”

“I see…” Bedivere nodded, but in his heart he couldn’t help feeling a bit puzzled by the name ‘Septcolor Geranium’… It seemed like he’d heard it somewhere before, but he couldn’t quite recall it for the moment.

“Sir Bedivere! We’re just about to head to the next suppression point! It’s great that we ran into you, this way it’ll be much easier for us!” Klein was genuinely overjoyed at this time.

He had an unusually stubborn admiration for the Round Table Knights; being able to fight side by side with them this time was something that would be enough to get him excited just thinking back on it later!

“We’re not going. We’ll stay right here.” But Bedivere shook his head at this moment. “You’ll stay here as well.”

“What?”
