Unlike the Demon Emperor, who was reserved and unsettling like a shadow looming over the world, what the current Demon Court needed now was a true lord, one bold enough to carve new territory, to expand without restraint.

And the Demon Emperor’s Second Disciple had exactly that kind of momentum.

Though he tried to conceal it, anyone with discernment could see the ambition in his eyes, an ambition that would not be content with just one galaxy or two, but would continue to drive him to spread his reach ever farther and farther, to no end.

“So then… is he a blessing or a curse to us?” Archangel Michael asked curiously.

“Both,” Seraphim replied with a heavy sigh.

“The blessing is that this New Supreme Lord of the Demon Court has promised a tripartite rule over the Western Sector. However, the curse lies in his ambition. It may one day swell to the point he would devour even us…”

A hush fell over the gathered high-ranking Angels.

And this was the one thing that the Angel Clan feared the most. Not the power of the Demon Court but the ambition of its new ruler. If it were the former Demon Emperor, they would not be so uneasy. After all, the former Demon Emperor preferred diplomacy and soft tactics, but the Second Disciple of the Demon Emperor…

“…” The silence deepened further, and their expression grew dark and conflicted.

Then, as if remembering something, Lan suddenly said, “Right… not long ago, this New Supreme Lord of the Demon Court invited us for a talk. Something about the Shadow Clan.”

“He’s finally going to move against them?”

“Most likely. The Demon Court’s General, Slytherin, has already dealt the Shadow Clan a heavy blow. If he truly makes a move this time, the Shadow Clan may well vanish from the Myriad Races of the starry sky…”

Hearing this, Seraphim’s expression turned grave.

[Slytherin… Another Overlord. He just emerged from the Demon Court, from seemingly nowhere. *Hooo…* Seraphim couldn’t help but heave a sigh, as found himself increasingly awed and wary of the Demon Court’s terrifying strength.

[Who can possibly stop them?] Suppressing the unease in his chest, Seraphim finally spoke, “In a few days, I’ll go myself. I want to see what this new Supreme Lord of the Demon Court truly has up his sleeve.”

“Yes, Lord Seraphim.” In unison, the Angels bowed and responded with reverence. And at the same time, in the Titan Star Domain, a similar council had convened.

All of this was happening for one reason: The Demon Court had changed.

It was no longer the quiet, insular power of the past. It had become invasive.

Where once it was overly cautious and conservative, the current Demon Court was brimming with demonic aggression. It acted without warning, but its every move sent shockwaves through the stars.
