Evolution Begins With A Big Tree

Soon, many Blood Demons caught sight of the Behemoth’s appearance. It resembled a massive bear standing on two legs. A glowing blue dorsal fin adorned its back.

It was Monster Zero. At this moment, with his deep, penetrating eyes, Monster Zero fixed his gaze on a grand city in the distance.

Then, visibly, his dorsal fin began to glow red from the tail upward, as if igniting with blood flames.

*Rooooaar…*  Monster Zero looked towards the sky and let out a horrifying growl that echoed across the sky.

“Atomic Breath…” With an earth-shaking roar, a blood-red beam, dozens of meters wide, shot from Monster Zero’s mouth, tearing through the sky as it spanned tens of thousands of meters, heading straight for the distant city.

*Boooooom…* A deafening explosion rocked the world.

Looking up, one of the seven main cities, Demon Hunter City, was engulfed in a wave of blood-red light. Like an overturned bowl, the blood-red wave continued expanding. Its blistering heat warped the air.

The overwhelming energy seemed intent on utterly annihilating the entire city.

However, just then…

“Hmph…” A muffled grunt reverberated before Monster Zero’s blood-red beam abruptly came to halt.

Following the beam’s path, one could see a tall figure clad in blood-red scales standing, appearing out of nowhere.

It was over two meters tall. However, unlike the burly male Blood Demons, this figure was relatively petite.

Yet, most striking of all were her eyes, gleaming like rubies from behind the blood-red mask her scales formed.

This was Lan Xi, the Blood Demon Clan’s Princess—a warrior recognized as one of the Clan’s strongest.

In this moment, she stood resolute, holding a blood-colored sword, blocking Monster Zero’s Atomic Breath.

Oddly enough, it seemed that even Monster Zero’s blood-red beam feared her sword, diverging and flowing to the sides like a river.
