Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 394: Origin Manifestation, Origin Seed and Origin Nova

The energy around Grey subdued as his mind perception, which had significantly expanded, retreated into his mind palace. In the following moment, he crossed the distance between himself, Eterna, and the Fragment.

”I am done,” Grey said with a smile forming on his face.

With all three aspects of himself now having reached a higher level, his power had increased drastically.

If he fought his previous self right now, he could easily defeat him with a single move.

”Congratulations on the breakthrough,” both the Fragment and Eterna congratulated him.

”I appreciate it.” He laughed slightly.

He was in a good mood now. Taking risks was a part of evolution, and by taking the risk of entering the Abyss, he had managed to obtain enough force to grow stronger.

Besides, the reason he managed to get away safely was that he was actually using the Myriad Laws of Chaos.

He used it to reduce the possibility of dying inside the Abyss, and it worked wonders.

Of course, it took a lot of energy, but he easily supplemented it using the World Force from the planets he had devoured, successfully reaching a new level of power.

And most importantly, his soul integrity had also increased.

[System: Soul Integrity: 61%]

”While we are on the topic, Fragment, did you sense the life level of the enemy that ambushed us in the Abyss?” Grey inquired.

”No,” the Fragment said with a frown.

Hearing this, Grey Spoke. ”From what I have observed, the other party was still within the bounds of the 5th Rank. Yet he was immensely strong. Is the gap that big in the 5th Rank that an enemy who might have been at the 12th Level managed to reach that sort of power?”

Hearing this, both Eterna and the Fragment looked at each other.

It looked like he didn’t know.

”The gap between each level naturally exists. It is not going anywhere.”

”But the enemy that ambushed us wasn’t necessarily at the 12th Level of the 5th Rank,” the Fragment spoke.

Eterna then continued. ”I do not know specifically about the Abyss, but here in the main world, the 5th Rank is divided into three smaller stages, with 12 levels to each.”

”With each genetic limiter, the chasm widens, and you need to reach an even higher level to see the 6th genetic limiter.”

”Origin Manifestation, Origin Seed, and Origin Nova. These three make up the 5th Rank of the main world. I do not know the exact details of each realm aside from the Origin Manifestation realm since my memories are incomplete, but one needs to reach the peak of Origin Nova to see the sixth genetic limiter.”

”The enemy that ambushed us was most likely an Origin Seed or Origin Nova level expert,” the Fragment added as it revolved around Grey.

”I also know that the way 5th Rankers grow stronger is by attuning with the universe and gathering Origin Force from the Origin Will. However, most experts utilize Origin Treasures that contain Origin Force, absorbing them to grow stronger since its faster than gathering it from the Origin Will, or they simply devour each other’s Origin Cores.”

”That is how one gets stronger in these realms.”

”Devouring to evolve, huh?” Grey smiled.

It wasn’t any different from what Grey was doing right now.

The World Force he devoured was without a doubt a type of Origin Force.

Perhaps he could call it a Lesser World Origin Force?

”For now, I should probably stabilize my foundation.” Grey had been absorbing planets nonstop. At this rate, if he didn’t take the time to stabilize himself, he would probably blow up.

Lesser Heavens usually stabilized their foundations by going into a deep slumber, but Grey had other plans.

Grey’s figure flickered, and the next moment he was right in front of the moon.

With a casual wave of his hand, Edward, who had been sealed within the moon, was pulled out.

By now, Edward was completely under Grey’s control. He couldn’t even resist the telekinetic force that was instilled upon him.

”I will let you go if you hand over Origin Treasures and Foundational Treasures.”

”Do you have any?”

Edward trembled when he heard this.

”I do!” he spoke loudly. ”Please, expert, let me go. I still have to attend my wedding anniversary. If you are ever so generous, I will hand over a High-Grade Tier 1 Origin Treasure and a Foundation Cluster near my planet.”

”Foundation Cluster? What is that?” Grey tilted his head in interest.

”It is a cluster the size of several continents formed naturally from the gathering array of the Three-Planet Alliance, which the Crimson Core Planet is a part of.”
