The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 461: Chapter 461: Holding Hands (8 updates)_1

”Sister Mengmeng, Brother Dabao, next time something like this happens, you have to call us,” the child said excitedly, munching on some pastries.

”No problem, as long as you’re obedient, there will always be pastries and candies for you...” Sanni waved her hand magnanimously, ”But, you can’t say I told you to.”

”Whoever spills the beans is going to get it!” Zhou Xiao added, ”Even mom and dad can’t know.”

The kids nodded vigorously and then ran off laughing, all shouting about going to see the demon’s butt.

Sanni cast an approving glance at Zhou Xiao, ”Not bad!”

Zhou Xiao pouted, ”Definitely better than that sickly kid.”

Sanni, who was about to head home, suddenly stopped. Then she turned around, eyes wide, and stared at Zhou Xiao, ”Brother Dabao, what do you mean?”

”No...” Zhou Xiao quickly shook his head. He was just a bit jealous of Fang Tianze, after all. Why was Mengmeng always fussing over him, calling him ’Brother Tianze’ this and ’Brother Tianze’ that? And why was she offering him tea and water? He’s just a servant boy; did Mengmeng need to do that for him?

In fact, everyone from the Yang Family and the Gu Family was very caring towards Fang Tianze. It’s just that Zhou Xiao, as a little buddy who was fond of Sanni, only noticed Sanni’s hustle and bustle. In reality, he was jealous.

”You’re not jealous, are you?” Sanni was sharp, and with Yang Ruxin occasionally instilling some knowledge about men and women, the young girl was rather precocious. Suddenly, a light bulb went off in her head, and she considered this possibility.

”Jealous? Me?” Zhou Xiao’s face turned red, and he quickly grabbed Sanni’s hand and started running back, ”Didn’t you say you wanted to go back and tell Auntie Hui? Hurry, it’ll be over there if we’re late...”

Sanni successfully had her attention diverted and ran back home, hand in hand with Zhou Xiao.

Zhou Xiao felt secretly thrilled. He had been wanting to hold hands with Mengmeng for a long time but never had the chance. He hadn’t expected that today... the opportunity came so suddenly, the feeling of happiness was so abrupt...

In the courtyard, Fang Tianze was following Dao Xuzi in practicing the Five Animals Play. The old man had already started treating him, not only with acupuncture and medication but also by having him learn the Five Animals Play, which was supposed to strengthen his constitution.

Erni and Xun Hui were also learning alongside him, as per Yang Ruxin’s instructions. Although they did it reluctantly and felt embarrassed, they had no choice but to learn.

When Zhou Xiao and Sanni burst through the door, everyone stopped because the sound was so loud.

”You...” Erni was the first to rush over, and she quickly separated the two holding hands, ”What are you doing?”

Only then did Sanni realize she had been holding hands with Brother Dabao the whole way, but she didn’t see it as a big deal. In fact, she rather liked the feeling of holding hands and shot Erni an annoyed look, ”Big sis, what’s there to fuss about? It’s just holding hands.”

”You...” Erni was at a loss for words.

”Enough, this is not the time to fuss about that,” Sanni quickly waved her hand and then winked at Dao Xuzi before turning to Xun Hui with wide eyes, ”Mom, there’s trouble at the old house again...”

”What happened?” Xun Hui got nervous upon hearing this.

Sanni pouted and briefly explained the situation, ”Just now I saw our fourth uncle storming off in a rage; they’re probably fighting by now...”

Xun Hui’s face paled instantly. How could this happen?

”Do you guys want to go see what’s going on? Anyway, I need to check it out, just in case our second uncle or fourth uncle has killed someone, I can help find someone to report it...” Sanni said smugly, then turned and took the initiative to grab Zhou Xiao’s hand and ran outside.
