The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 418: Chapter 418: Can Take a Beating (3 more)_1

The dishes at Taibai Building were indeed well-made, but since Yang Ruxin was preoccupied with her concerns, she didn’t taste much and simply filled her stomach.

”Xinxin, if you trust your uncle, tell me why you are here, and I will accompany you,” Han Baichuan sighed as he looked at Yang Ruxin, ”Otherwise, by yourself in the county town...”

”I want to establish a separate household for women,” Yang Ruxin lifted her eyes to look at Han Baichuan.

”What?” Han Baichuan was taken aback.

”Uncle Han must also find it surprising, but there’s no other way,” Yang Ruxin managed a bitter smile, ”Even though we have split from the family... I won’t hide it from you. My second uncle shares your name; he is Yang Baichuan. But his disposition is a world apart from yours, just like my fourth uncle Yang Baifu; these two are lazy, gluttonous, thieving scoundrels. My grandparents are exceedingly biased. I don’t want my hard-earned property to end up with those parasites...”

”Every family has its own problems to endure,” sighed Han Baichuan, ”Your uncle supports you.” He had already heard some of the Yang Family’s issues from Wang Zhenggang, so he knew that although Yang Ruxin was reluctant to go into detail, her situation was definitely very frustrating.

”Thank you,” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”Let’s go then.”

Han Baichuan paid the bill, and the two left the establishment. Yang Ruxin waited at the entrance while Han Baichuan went to the back to retrieve the carriage.

The shopkeeper Zhu came over to chat with Yang Ruxin for a moment before getting busy again.

”That damned girl...” A group of people hurried over from afar, led by a fatso with a swelled face, Haoshao, and beside him was a man who was obviously a martial practitioner, his face covered in thick flesh that indicated he was no good, especially as he was holding a club in his hand.

Yang Ruxin quickly descended the steps; she didn’t want to bring trouble to someone else’s establishment, did she?

”Was it you who beat up my cousin?” The man with the thick flesh pointed at Yang Ruxin with his club.

Yang Ruxin nodded honestly and then looked at the fatso, ”Did you not get beaten enough and now you’ve brought backup? The question is, can these people take a beating?”

”You...” Haoshao hastily hid behind his elder cousin, ”Don’t be arrogant. My cousin knows martial arts and will beat you until you’re searching the ground for your teeth...”

”Heh...” Yang Ruxin tugged at the corner of her mouth, then suddenly her expression darkened as she looked at the man with the thick flesh, ”Are you all coming at me together, or one at a time?”

The man with the thick flesh was startled; he hadn’t expected his group of more than a dozen men would not intimidate this young lady in the slightest. Could she really have some skill?

”Sister?” Just then, a surprised voice came from behind, ”It really is you, sister...”

”Young master, don’t run, walk slowly.” The servants who followed were terrified and quickly steadied him.

Yang Ruxin turned around to see a pale face filled with surprise, and she smiled after a brief pause: ”Young Master Fang, what a coincidence.” She then sized him up, ”Are you feeling better? Although, your complexion seems to have improved a lot...”

Fang Tianze, however, pushed away the servants’ hands and slowly walked up to Yang Ruxin, but his expression dimmed as he shook his head slightly: ”Today I was feeling unbearably stifled, so I came out for a walk...” Then he suddenly put on a smile, ”But I didn’t expect to run into you, sister... Why didn’t you look for me when you came to the county town? You should know where my family lives; it’s easy to ask around...”
