The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 415: Chapter 415: The Evil Young Master (Part 4)_1

Yang Ruxin nodded and stood at the doorway, surveying the surroundings. The expressions on the faces of the commoners passing by were calm, a sign that they must be well-fed and warmly clothed. This had a lot to do with the stability of commodity prices and was an important criterion for assessing the stability of a society.

It appeared that this must be a time of prosperity, and the current Emperor must be a wise ruler.

As she was pondering this, a shouting voice came from afar. A fat man dressed in luxurious clothing was fanning himself with an air of arrogance. Accompanying him were four servant-like toughs, yelling at pedestrians to clear the way for the young master. Anyone who was too slow to move was swiftly kicked aside as they proceeded towards the Taibai Building.

Passersby were all too enraged to speak.

Yang Ruxin frowned. She had just commented on the peace and prosperity of the times, and now a rogue young noble had come to slap her in the face—quite the divine assist indeed.

”Make way, make way.” At this moment, the fat man’s servants started to yell at her.

Yang Ruxin had been standing on the steps at the entrance of the Taibai Building, not wishing to cause any trouble, she stepped back a few paces to the very edge of the stairs.

”Didn’t you hear me tell you to scram?” One of the servants, considering it a failure to give quick respect to their young master, especially since a mere girl was still standing there, immediately came over to Yang Ruxin and pushed her with a raised hand.

The color on Yang Ruxin’s face darkened. When she saw the servant’s arm stretch out to push her, she sidestepped to avoid the contact and simultaneously grabbed the arm that was trying to push her. Then, with a swift shove, the man was sent tumbling to the ground.

That servant, who had never expected to be thrown, was immediately consumed by a furious embarrassment: ”You wretched girl...”

But before he could even finish his sentence, Yang Ruxin had already sent a kick flying into his face, toppling him onto the ground: ”Watch your mouth.”

The servant collapsed to the ground once again.

”Hey, where did this country bumpkin come from? You even dare to lay hands on my man?” the man who claimed to be Young Master Hao turned around upon hearing the commotion, his face trembling with fat twitches, ”Seeing as you’re quite pretty... come back with me tonight, and let’s consummate the marriage, you can be a chambermaid. Serve me well, and we’ll let this slide...”

Yang Ruxin let out a scoff. She suddenly felt that this man seemed to be a perfect match for Yang Baihe—both were experts at delusional self-talk.

”Young Master Hao, it’s all a misunderstanding,” the shopkeeper from the Taibai Building hurriedly ran out, ”This girl from the countryside doesn’t know any better, you shouldn’t stoop to the level of arguing with a little girl.” While speaking, he was making meaningful glances at Yang Ruxin.

Yang Ruxin didn’t say anything else and just gratefully smiled at the shopkeeper, knowing he was trying to help her.

”Get lost,” the fatty Young Master Hao shoved the shopkeeper aside, ”I’m going to teach this wretched girl a lesson today...” he waved his hand, ”Take her up to my room, I’ll deal with her right now...”

”You’ve got a nice dream there,” Yang Ruxin sneered, ”but only...”

Just as she was about to make her move, a green light suddenly whizzed around twice before disappearing into the sleeve of her garment.

The few men under Young Master Hao’s command suddenly began to drop to the ground, wailing in pain.

”Xiaolun, well done!” Yang Ruxin wiped her wrist, giving Xiaolun a big thumbs up.

Xiaolun proudly flipped its tail over Yang Ruxin’s wrist, as if to say, with the Green King on the job, taking anyone down was a matter of minutes.

”You...” Young Master Hao stared at Yang Ruxin in terror, pointing at her as his lips trembled. He finally let out a loud cry, ”Monster...”
