The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 301: Chapter 301: Catching Shrimp (Five Updates)_1

”We can try it,” Gu Qingheng nodded, ”As for sales, Baiwei Restaurant’s business is still quite good.” However, it remains to be seen whether the Shen Family knows quality when they see it.

”Mm, I’ll go to Baiwei Restaurant tomorrow,” Yang Ruxin said, feeling much more reassured with Gu Qingheng’s support.

”Today is the elder madam of the Shen Family’s birthday, and there will be banquets for three consecutive days. Chances are you won’t be able to find anyone,” Gu Qingheng shook his head, ”You can first secure the small shrimp and prepare some products in reserve. After these couple of days, then you go talk to them. Such matters require the shopkeeper’s approval. Even if you can’t sell them later, you can keep them for yourself to eat, and they won’t go bad.”

”Thank you,” Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but reach out and briefly hold Gu Qingheng’s hand before turning to run off. This guy had thought of everything for her. If someone were to remind her that she had sworn to stay away from Gu Qingheng, she would definitely glare and get angry... Who said that? Whoever talks about staying away from that ’monster,’ she would quarrel with...

The smile on Gu Qingheng’s lips became even more pronounced, and he unconsciously clenched his fist. No matter what she wanted to do, he would try his best to ensure she had nothing to worry about.

Gu Yao hurriedly looked down. He had run out of words for this woman, who kept taking advantage of his brother. But... seeing that his brother seemed quite happy, he figured there was no need for him to be concerned.

Early the next morning, Yang Ruxin went to the docks alone, without calling Gu Yao. She couldn’t always expect him to accompany her every time.

These were big days for the Shen Family, so their servants arrived at the docks early to collect things. There was much demand due to the number of guests, which meant there were many fishing boats at the docks today, though most of them had already emptied their catch.

Among them was Uncle Lu, whose name was Lu Gao.

However, the catch of small shrimp today was not much, just over three pounds.

”Girl, are you saying you want to purchase this kind of shrimp regularly?” Lu Gao’s eyes widened in surprise after hearing Yang Ruxin’s request.

”Yes,” nodded Yang Ruxin. ”Uncle Lu, you know a lot of boat owners. Can you help me collect them?”

”That...”

”I’ll offer one copper coin per pound for yours, Uncle. As for how much you charge others, I don’t care. Does that work for you?” Yang Ruxin had never done business before, but she had been exposed to enough to know that you must give people an incentive to help. So, she offered a high price right away, even taking out a bag, ”Here’s one hundred copper coins as a deposit.”

Lu Gao looked at Yang Ruxin, unable to understand what was so good about those small shrimps.

”Uncle, is it a problem?” Yang Ruxin frowned.

”Not at all,” Lu Gao quickly waved his hand, ”I just think that nobody wants those things, yet you want to buy them—it’s like wasting money, isn’t it?”

Yang Ruxin smiled, placing the bag of money into Lu Gao’s hands. He was honest and simple, just worried about her wasting money; she appreciated his kindness, ”Don’t worry, Uncle. I want to use these small shrimp to make some seasoning sauce. Seasonings from the grocery store are expensive, and these have a fresh taste. If I can make it work, wouldn’t that save money? When it’s ready, I’ll bring some for you to try.” I forgot today because I left too early, but I’ll do it next time when I come.

Lu Gao was relieved when he heard this, ”I didn’t realize the girl was so resourceful. In that case, Uncle Lu will help you, but you don’t need to pay such a high price. One copper coin can buy three pounds...”
