The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 255: Chapter 255: Want to Make Shrimp Paste (First Update)_1

”If it tastes good, eat more of it.” Yang Ruxin was pleased, then couldn’t help looking proudly towards Gu Yao, ”Little Yaozi, have I not kept my word?”

”Hehe...” Gu Yao was a bit embarrassed, ”How could I know your cooking skills were this good? Because really, no one eats this stuff.” His admiration for Yang Ruxin grew, and he was also happy for his elder brother, who would truly be fortunate if he married her in the future.

Yang Ruxin was just teasing, but hearing him say this, she nodded, ”Actually, many things are great ingredients; it’s just that people don’t know how to cook them.” She paused for a moment, ”I plan to make shrimp paste with the rest, and then you’ll find that it tastes different again...”

Gu Yao was so enticed that he started to salivate, ”Then I’ll go to the docks tomorrow and buy all those small shrimps.”

”Shrimp paste?” Gu Qingheng’s eyebrows rose slightly.

”Mhm.” Yang Ruxin nodded, beginning to form a business plan in her mind, ”Have you tried it?”

Gu Qingheng shook his head, ”I’ve eaten shrimp balls and shrimp, but not shrimp paste.”

”Really?” Yang Ruxin’s eyes brightened, ”That’s great, then. Wait until I make it and you can try.” If the taste was acceptable, then she was ready to start a shrimp paste business, as it was easy to store and had low production costs.

Gu Qingheng nodded, ”I’ll wait for it.”

”I’m waiting too!” Sini eagerly chimed in.

Everyone paused, then burst into laughter.

”You little girl, you’re in on everything!” Yang Ruxin raised her hand to pinch little Sini’s face, which seemed to have gained a bit of weight over just a few days.

Sini giggled joyously.

The little girl’s laughter was infectious, causing everyone involuntarily to smile.

All of them overate at the meal.

After the Feng Family had left, Sanni couldn’t help but grumble, ”Anything will taste good if you put that much oil in it,” still fixated on Yang Ruxin’s use of oil.

Yang Ruxin felt both amused and helpless but knew that the little girl was scarred by hunger. She would recover once their life improved.

”I’m so stuffed.” Xiaosi rolled around on the kang clutching her belly, then prostrated herself in front of Xun Hui and touched her face, ”Mom, big sister is so impressive, we’ve added so many things to our home, and the cooking is so tasty and fragrant. Please get up soon...”

The naive words of the child made Yang Ruxin’s nose tingle with emotion while others even had teary eyes. They quickly reassured her with a smile, ”Don’t worry, as soon as we get our home sorted out, mom will wake up.”

Looking at Yang Ruxin, everyone felt an inexplicable trust and became happy.

Yang Ruxin, worried about everyone getting indigestion, hurriedly called everyone to the yard to take a walk and digest, also mentioning the situation of Dabao and his siblings.

”How pitiful is that?” Xiaosi felt sad upon hearing this, ”Big sister, can we bring them back with us?”

”Tomorrow I’ll go back to the clinic to check on them, and if the Doctor allows her to leave, I’ll bring them here,” Yang Ruxin nodded, ”And also, none of you can run off on your own from now on. It would be terrible if you got lost.” She was heartened by her siblings’ kindness; she did not want any of the children she raised to grow up cold-hearted and ungrateful. Those who knew compassion and gratitude would go further in life.
