The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 249: Chapter 249: For Your Own Good (One More)_1

Doctor Wang stood in the medical hall and witnessed the entire process, the corner of his mouth involuntarily curled up. He shouldn’t have been mistaken about this girl; bold and daring with a warm heart, she possessed exactly the qualities needed for healing and saving lives, hanging a pot to help the world. He never advocated for the practice of hiding one’s abilities; if one learned medical skills, then one should use them to treat illnesses and save lives. If one were to learn and then hide their knowledge, it would be better not to learn at all.

Of course, regarding those reclusive experts, he offered no judgment, as everyone has their own experiences.

Moreover, he was not the type to shun rewards; while he saved lives through medicine, he also wanted to live a life of basic comfort, which he considered most beautiful.

He felt that this girl had a resilience and a drive that was hard to describe, as well as a kind of magnanimity that seemed unattainable to others, something that none of the many people he had met before, including himself, possessed.

Yang Ruxin naturally did not know Doctor Wang’s thoughts. At this moment, she snorted at the somewhat disheveled Yang Rusong, then turned around and walked away. She had arranged to meet Gu Yao at the town entrance, and if she didn’t leave now, it would soon be dark.

”Yang Dani, you... you...” Yang Rusong looked at Yang Ruxin’s retreating figure and couldn’t help but shout, ”You will regret this.”

Yang Ruxin’s steps came to an abrupt halt, then she turned around, her face half-smiling, half-serious as she looked at Yang Rusong.

Yang Rusong felt a cold chill rise from the soles of his feet and subconsciously wanted to run, but he stumbled as soon as he lifted his foot and fell to the ground with a thud.

However, Yang Ruxin walked over, raised her foot, and kicked Yang Rusong’s backside twice: ”I would regret it if I didn’t beat you up today.”

Yang Rusong let out two miserable cries and then quickly scrambled up and fled.

Yang Ruxin simply wanted to teach the other party a lesson, so she didn’t give chase.

When Yang Rusong had run a considerable distance and saw that Yang Ruxin was not following, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. He rubbed his sore backside and muttered, ”Women and villains are indeed the hardest to raise,” then limped back the way he came. Not watching where he was going, he turned a corner and bumped into someone, hastily lowering his head to apologize, ”I’m sorry...”

”Yang Rusong?” Guan Qingshu frowned, ”What’s the rush?” As he said this, he scanned Yang Rusong’s body, ”You... what happened to you?”

”Guan Qingshu?” Yang Rusong looked up and was slightly taken aback, then smiled, ”No worries. I just... took a tumble by accident.” His heart cursed Yang Ruxin for being so unkind as to leave him in such a disheveled state.

Although Yang Rusong and Guan Qingshu were from the same village and attended the same academy, their relationship wasn’t very good; in fact, they rather rejected each other. They usually had nothing to do with one another, and at most would just nod in passing. So, seeing that Guan Qingshu was not inclined to inquire further, he simply moved to walk past him.

”Guan Qingshu.” Yang Rusong suddenly called out to him just as he was about to turn the corner.

Guan Qingshu turned around, looking puzzled at Yang Rusong, ”What is it?”

”Are you heading home?” asked Yang Rusong.

”Yes,” Guan Qingshu nodded, ”no class this afternoon, and I’ll be back early tomorrow morning.”

”I advise you not to go home right now.” Yang Rusong smiled, ”I’m saying this for your own good.”

”Why?”

”My cousin has come to town, I just ran into her,” Yang Rusong said, his smile carrying a profound implication before he turned and walked away.
