Invincibility Begins with a Super Fairy Manny

“Archbishop, today there are a few students who would like to interview you!” Having seen Klichen step out from the confessional, a priest hurriedly approached to say.

“Hmm? An interview with students?”

“Yes, they said they want to know about the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of our cathedral!”

Klichen frowned and waved his hand, “No, I’m not interested in meeting a few students!”

“Yes, Your Grace, then I’ll go tell them!” The priest said, turning to leave. “I also find it quite amusing that a few students from China actually want to interview about the maintenance of European ancient architecture!”

“Hold on!” Klichen called out to the priest, “What did you just say? Where are these students from?”

“Your Grace, they are all from China! Is there a problem?”

Klichen’s expression fluctuated, and then he nodded slightly, “Bring them in to see me!”

The priest was slightly taken aback, but still obediently bowed his head, “Yes, Your Grace!”

As the priest left, he wondered what was with their archbishop today?

Usually, if there wasn’t a person of enough importance, he wouldn’t grant an audience at all.

The priest felt puzzled.

But Klichen already had his own plan.

Since these students were all Chinese, meeting them wouldn’t be a loss for him.

After all, the Divine Slaughter was also Chinese!

Internally, Klichen resolved that during the interview, he would showcase more of the benevolent side of the Church of Light, so as to leave a better impression in China.

Though it might be a futile effort, he still had to try.

Meanwhile, outside the cathedral, Ding Guang and his anxious sister Ding Ran and others were waiting uneasily.

“Sister, I told you this was impossible! This church belongs to the Church of Light, and I’ve heard that the archbishop is a cardinal. With such a status, how could he possibly meet with us?” Ding Guang said, somewhat despondently.

Ding Ran was also feeling restless.

Ever since the last interview at the Blood Clan’s ancient castle nearly ended with them being devoured as after-dinner treats, Ding Ran’s worldview had been greatly shaken. It took her nearly seven or eight days of secluding herself in a hotel room before she slowly recovered.

But the thesis still needed to be written, and Ding Ran dared not approach those dark, gloomy castles again. Instead, she turned her attention to these majestic cathedrals.

In her view, these were the places closest to a deity, and surely they should be safer.

But the problem was that many of the churches of the Church of Light were not open to the public!

Having no choice, she summoned the courage and, after presenting a significant gift, proposed the request for an interview.

Just then, the priest came out of the church and said somewhat arrogantly, “The archbishop has agreed to your interview. Please follow me!”
