Rong Chu winked at Rong Yan who was by his side. When Rong Yan noticed it he immediately said, ”Sir, even though it was you who purchased the herb, do you think that it was safe for you to hold onto it?”

A person without any absolute power or abilities will be at a great disadvantage especially if it was known to others that they possessed such a valuable item. Once someone is known to have something precious, it will not bring benefits to its owner but instead because of others jealousy, it will bring disaster.

Rong Yan was obviously threatening the childe.

The childe opened his eyes widely and asked, ”Does it mean that if I don’t sell it now, I’ll be robbed by both of you as soon as I walk out the door?”

Rong Chu replied coldly, ”Why would I do such a thing? However, an item that precious would catch the attention of others and I am certain that there will be people who will plot against you…”

The childe seemed convinced and sighed, ”You are right, it seems that I should pass it on to someone else… right?”

Rong Chu laughed with satisfaction, ”I’m afraid so, little brother. A wise man submits to fate. You ought to sell this thing away.”

The childe stood up slowly, ”What you have said is rather true but I still feel that you are threatening me. I have had a weird temperament since I was born and I detest people who threaten me.” He said as he took out that box from his sleeve…

The facial expression of Rong Chu changed slightly as he asked, ”What are you planning to do?”

The childe smiled slightly and said, ”Since it’s a sacred thing, it should be owned by someone who is destined to be its rightful owner…”

He looked around and suddenly stopped when he saw Gu Xijiu. Then, he waved at her and asked, ”Little sister, would you be interested in this weed?”

Gu Xijiu was shocked but she looked at him calmly and said, ”What if I am?”

”If you are interested, I’ll sell you this miracle weed!”

Gu Xijiu was silent for a moment before she replied with two words, ”No money!”

The childe laughed and asked with an unexpectedly gentle voice, ”Do you have 50,000 ounces of silver?”

”Yes...” In fact, she only had 50,000.

”Great! Since I found you to be very congenial, I’ll sell you this weed for 50,000 ounces of silver!” His words shocked many of the other people who were present in the hall.

A sacred weed, which costed millions of ounces of silver, was being sold for only 50,000. This childe was out of his mind!

Everyone turned towards Gu Xijiu’s direction as they wanted to know who this lucky person was. Nonetheless, they could only see her silhouette as she was hidden behind the pearled-curtains.

Gu Xijiu did not feel that she was lucky. She looked at the childe and asked doubtfully, ”Sir, are you seriously selling this herb to me for only 50,000?”

”Yes, I am sure.” The childe had a pair of eyes, which was as clear as a river in autumn. He was looking at her with a faint smile, ”You are more pleasing to the eyes than anyone I have ever seen, and so, I am willing to sell it to you at a low price. But I have one condition…”

Seeing that she was already lucky enough that he was willing to sell it to her, Gu Xijiu asked in a calm manner, ”What’s the condition?”
