After Being Framed by Her Family, She was Pampered by a CEO from a Rich Family

Chapter 28: Sister-in-law

Jing Yao stayed at home the entire afternoon. After watching the movie for a while, she went to the garden for a walk.

At five oʼclock in the afternoon, a car stopped outside the courtyard. Jing Yao heard the sound and thought that Liang Xun was back, so she hurriedly ran to the door.

She had lunch with Zhu Ling in the afternoon. When she took the car to the mall, she felt uncomfortable. She had thrown up whatever she ate, so she was already hungry.

Before Liang Xun went to the company at noon, he asked her what she liked to eat. She said a few, and they were all dishes she had been wanting to eat recently. Thinking of Liang Xunʼs culinary skills, she could not wait.

But when she saw the car, Jing Yao knew that it wasnʼt Liang Xun.

It was a very ostentatious sports car. Although they had only known each other for two days, Jing Yao felt that Liang Xun wouldnʼt like such a car. Liang Xun liked a low-key and luxurious car.

However, Jing Yao was still a little surprised to see the person who got out of the car.

Shen Yu!

A popular A-list male celebrity in the entertainment industry had both looks and ability. He was someone that many people could only dream of becoming.

Jing Yao had worked with him before, but she acted as an inconspicuous passerby, so she knew Shen Yu, but Shen Yu didnʼt know her.

Yesterday, they went to Shen Yuʼs birthday banquet, but she had not even met Shen Yu before that incident happened.

What was Shen Yu doing here?

Jing Yao was confused.

Shen Yu had just opened the car door and got out when he saw a girl standing at the door. She was wearing cotton home clothes. Although she was bare-faced, her skin was very good. However, she looked really young.

Shen Yu didnʼt dare to greet her, but other than his brotherʼs sudden marriage partner, there shouldnʼt be anyone else at Liang Xunʼs house at this time.

Shen Yu looked at Jing Yao and said tentatively, ”Sister-in-law?”

”…” Jing Yao.

Shen Yu was quite friendly with her. He stretched out his hand and introduced himself. ”Hello, hello. My name is Shen Yu. Iʼm Liang Xunʼs cousin.”

Jing Yao shook his hand and said, ”Hello, my name is Jing Yao.”

”Jing Yao?” Shen Yu nodded. ”Good name, good name. Sister-in-law, Iʼm starving. Letʼs go in first.”

When the two of them got home, Jing Yao remembered that she was also hungry when Shen Yu said that he was hungry. She wanted to find some snacks, but Liang Xun didnʼt have snacks at home.

Shen Yu sat on the sofa, turned on the TV, and watched casually. Jing Yao sat on the sofa opposite him, hugging a bolster in a daze.

From five oʼclock to five-thirty, Shen Yu finally couldnʼt take it anymore. He whispered, ”Sister-in-law, when are we eating?”

Jing Yao shook her head. She was almost immune to being called Sister-in-law. After all, Shen Yu had called her that more than 10 times since he came in.

”I donʼt know when Iʼll eat either. It depends on him… when your brother will come back.”

Shen Yu looked at the time and said, ”He should be off work at this time. Shouldnʼt we cook first?”

Jing Yao looked up at him in surprise. ”You know how to cook?”

Shen Yu shook his head in a daze. ”I donʼt know how to do it. Arenʼt you who do the cooking?”

Jing Yao sighed. ”I donʼt know how either. Letʼs wait for your brother to come back and cook.”

”Ah?” Shen Yu looked at her in disbelief. ”He cooks?”

Jing Yao didnʼt understand why he was shocked. ”Yes, donʼt you know that your brother can cook?”

Shen Yu said, ”I know. My brother cooks quite well. I was lucky enough to eat it once in the past, but he said that he would never cook for others in the future.”

Jing Yao shook her head in disbelief. She did not expect Liang Xun to say such a thing.

Then why did she feel that Liang Xun liked to cook since she moved in?

He also liked to ask others what they liked to eat before cooking.

At the thought of going home to cook for Jing Yao, Liang Xun didnʼt work overtime for the first time. He prepared to bring the remaining work home to do at night, not wanting Jing Yao to starve.

He specially went to the supermarket on the way. He first bought the dishes Jing Yao said she wanted to eat, then added a few more for himself.

However, when he returned home and saw the uninvited guest, his expression instantly turned ugly.

Was it so difficult for him to have a meal with his wife alone on the second day of their marriage?
