The Metropolis Series #2: Quinn Beyond Bounds

Quinn never asked for the power to turn back time, and she has no idea how to control it. Since discovering it at her new school, everything has gone wrong. Cassandra, a girl who looks exactly like her, haunts her nightmares and tricked her into rewriting reality, erasing Rachael, the girlfriend of the boy she liked. Now Rachael has come back as a monster. Battered and half-conscious in the pouring rain, Quinn learns that she and everyone she knows are characters created by an Author, and that anyone who realizes it risks being corrupted. Her roommate Harumi, who first told her the truth, has vanished. Julio, a discarded character who fights the monsters, is bleeding beside her. To stop Cassandra and find Harumi, Quinn will have to travel past the edge of the city.
