The Real Young Miss’s Secret Identities Revealed

Chapter 115: Looking Down On The Director

Jiang Li had been working on the script overnight for the past few days, and the script had finally taken shape. Then, she found the director and handed her script to him.

“Director, I suggest that we hurry up. This drama can be released during the winter break. During the winter break, there will definitely be a lot of people at the theater. We can take advantage of this.”

When the director heard Jiang Li’s words, his heart skipped a beat, but he still had some hesitation. “The production team hasn’t been finalized yet. Moreover, your script hasn’t been perfected yet. If we start shooting now…”

However, before the director could finish hesitating, Jiang Li smiled lightly, her face brimming with confidence.

“It’s okay. We just need to look for actors now. Moreover, I can write the script while the production team is shooting. I might have more inspiration when I see them acting.”

The director nodded in the end. “Then we’ll listen to you.”

Jiang Li’s script was finalized, but Jiang Man on the other side did not go smoothly at all.

Wang Hai took Jiang Man’s script and spoke.

“Your script is well written, although something is still missing when compared to your previous ones. Why don’t we rush to release it during the winter break? People will be more active during that time and there will be a lot of people who will go watch movies.”

Jiang Man heard Wang Hai’s words and smiled stiffly. “There’s no need for that, director. Isn’t it a little risky to release it during the winter break? Besides, I haven’t finished writing my script…”

However, the director frowned. “I believe in your ability. You’re Fox! There’s definitely no problem for you to write the script while we’re shooting!”

Jiang Man’s face showed a terrified expression.

There was no use in trying to avoid it. Jiang Man could only nod her head helplessly. She could not let the director get suspicious and start doubting her.

Jiang Man thought so, but she clenched her fists tightly.

“Alright, I’ll definitely perfect the script during the filming.”

Time flew by quickly. Jiang Li’s filming was about to begin, but the female lead had yet to be decided.

Jiang Li, who was preparing for the meeting, saw the cover of a women’s magazine on the table. Her eyes lit up and she pointed at the sweet-looking woman, “This is Lu Ling, the newly popular little flower. She has her own followers, so we can look for her to play the female lead.”

The director heard Jiang Li’s words and nodded. “With her around, there’s no need to worry about the profits of our movie. Moreover, even though she’s a newbie, her acting skills are pretty good. We can try to recruit her.”

Both of them were action-oriented. After discussing, they prepared to look for Lu Ling.

Unfortunately, after Jiang Li found Lu Ling, they met with Lu Ling’s rolling eyes.

Lu Ling sneered.

“I’m sorry. I’ve already gone to director Wang Hai’s production team. You should have heard of it, right? The script was written by Fox, and the director is very famous. Then there’s also me to attract more people. No matter what, this film can’t be ruined. Why should I participate in your film?”

Hearing the other party’s words, Jiang Li’s expression was indifferent.

“If that’s the case, then forget it.”

After saying that, she turned around and was about to leave.

Seeing Jiang Li’s indifferent expression, Lu Ling was a little angry. She gritted her teeth, and there was a hint of mockery in her eyes.

“Director Wang is a role model in the industry. Countless people are fighting to act in his movies! Look at the director in your team. He’s simply a virus at the box office. No matter what movie he directs, it will be ruined!”

Lu Ling sneered again. “And you, you are just a nobody. Where did you get the ability to compete with Jiang Man?”

When she said this, she raised her head with an arrogant look.

Jiang Li said slowly, “Do you think you’re that good at acting? Compared to those old seniors, you’re nothing. Remember today, because you’ll soon regret today’s decision.”

Lu Ling was angered by Jiang Li’s words. She pointed at Jiang Li but could not say a word.
