My Sassy ‘Crown Princess’

607. Task from Cheng Mobai (1)Translator: Guy Gone Bad

Wang Weixing smiled brightly at Cheng Mobai and walked away with pride.

Cheng Mobai looked at the back of Wang Weixing, grinding his teeth.

“Asshole!” Cheng Mobai exclaimed indignantly.

Dongfang Ling sighed helplessly in the heart. Cheng Mobai and Wang Weixing are both outstanding, but Cheng Mobai always rode over Wang Weixing’s head, always so for over the past hundred years.

Since they both got rapt in magic weapon refining, the situation finally changed. On this side, Wang Weixing is a genius, while Cheng Mobai is an idiot. Wang Weixing finally could hold his head high, easily surpassing Cheng Mobai.

Cheng Mobai glared at Dongfang Ling, full of dissatisfaction, “Ling’er, why did you just talk nonsense to him?”

Dongfang Ling answered with an innocent tone, “Uncle, it was only telling the truth.”

“Nonsense!” Cheng Mobai raised his voice and roared.

Dongfang Ling smiled awkwardly and said, “Uncle, I have remembered that my father asked me to go to see him right now. I gotta go!”

“Go, go, go, just get out of here!” Cheng Mobai angrily shouted.

Dongfang Ling stuck out her tongue and slipped out quickly.

Cheng Mobai held his hands on his waist and walked around the room like a trapped animal. “Wang Weixing that old thing, he compared my disciples with his, and said don’t let my disciples fall behind too much! Son of a bitch!”

Mo Fei smiled helplessly and said, “Elder! You are a man who is going to refine divine magic weapons. Why argue with these short-sighted people? What can a swallow know of the aims of a swan goose?! Your ambition, that bunch of sparrows would never understand.”

Cheng Mobai glanced at Mo Fei, “You are right! Those people are not only weak, but also short-sighted!”

Mo Fei, “…”

Cheng Mobai hummed lightly and said with a deep tone, “I’m someone who would refine divine magic weapons! Even Wang Weixing himself can’t compare with me? How dare he compare his disciples with mine? His disciples can refine medium grade magic weapons, so what? Look at his cocky face just now! Like a small man intoxicated by success!”

Mo Fei nodded like a chicken pecking rice, “Yes, yes, what goes around comes around. After you refine divine magic weapons, see what they say!”

Cheng Mobai took a deep breath, thoughtfully saying, “Hum, I have to think of a way to give him some pressure, or the guy’s tail will go up into the sky.”

Mo Fei tilted his head and asked curiously, “Elder, do you have any good idea?”

Cheng Mobai touched his chin, eyeing Mo Fei while asking, “Can you refine magic weapons?”

Mo Fei broke into a shy smile and said, “You know, elder, I’m from a small place. How would I ever know about such upscale things like that?”

Cheng Mobai smiled and said, “It’s OK. You can learn. Didn’t you see me refining? My skills are superb. Learning one or two from me, it’d be easy like eating a bowl of rice to outdo that asshole Wang Weixing’s disciple. I have confidence in you.”

Mo Fei, “…” Elder, what joke are you making?

Cheng Mobai then said with a righteous tone, “I give you ten days’ time, you refine something out, something no one has ever refined before, I want to show Wang Weixin some different thing! I’ll let him know that the dumbest disciple of mine is far better than any of his disciple!”

Mo Fei, “…” So I am that dumbest disciple???

Mo Fei wore a bitter face, “Uncle, how can I compare the disciple of Elder Wang?”

Cheng Mobai gave a cold snort, “Where is your ambition? Judging from Wang Weixing’s appearance, you should know his disciples are just a bunch of useless thing.”

Mo Fei, “…”

With a save of his hand, Cheng Mobai divided that hill-like materials into two piles, “This pile of materials are for you to use.”

Mo Fei looked at this scene with his lips closed and full of surprise. After so many years of refining, although Cheng Mobai’s skills had not improved much, his ability to distinguish the materials did improve a lot. The ones he gave him were all low grade ones.

But he still said, “Thank you very much.”
