My Sassy ‘Crown Princess’

Chapter 408: The Sand Crab (2)Translator: Guy Gone Bad

“Disciples from Xuancheng College is definitely not the opponents of the senior brothers and sisters from Tianhe.” Gu Rui said in a panic.

She had recognized the identities of Mo Fei’s group, knowing they were from Tianhe College, which ranked 12th in the last trial competition.

Gu Rui lowered her head. She heard from her seniors from Xuancheng that Tianhe College had failed in trial competitions over the past few years, going downhill with fewer talents each year. She has missed the top 10 for the third times. This time, she had grown disenchanted about top 10.

Gu Rui looked at the six people in front of her and secretly said in her heart: They must be lying. Disciples from Tianhe were all genius. How could it be lack of talents!

Mo Fei’s eyes swept across the three surviving Xuancheng disciples and he was a little surprised to find that the remaining three players from Xuancheng were all level-7.

Lou Yu stood beside, and from time to time, he stuffed the cooked crab meat to Mo Fei.

Mo Fei measured Gu Rui with his eyes, “How many people have you come?”

Gu Rui said sadly, “A total of six. Our team leader and the two upperclassmen have all died tragically in the hands of the sand crab.”

Mo Fei blinked, tilted his head and asked, “Your team leader is level 8?”

Gu Rui nodded, “Yes! Level 8, and the other two are level 7.”

Mo Fei raised his eyebrows and thought: One level 8, five level 7. And among the six contestants, the level 8 was the only one. With strong talents, Tianhe actually lost to a Xuancheng. That’s unimaginable.

As far as he knew, they had to stay in the secret realm for three months. On the first day, Xuancheng College had already lost three people. The secret realm seemed very dangerous! But the fat headmaster clearly said that as long as they did not break into the restricted area, they would not be in great danger.

“Isn’t it dangerous for a level seven disciples to enter the secret realm?” Mo Fei asked.

Gu Rui shook her head with a sad expression on her face, “It wasn’t. After passing through the door, we usually fell into the water or fire path. The water path was a vast ocean and the fire path was a desert. However, it was the first test. According to my senior brothers who passed the test, these were safe places, and the star beasts that appeared on the paths generally did not exceed level eight.”

Qian Ye raised his eyebrows and said with doubts, “The fat headmaster didn’t say these.”

Zheng Xuan crossed his arms and said disapprovingly, “The fat man is unreliable at all. Don’t expect him to say anything useful!”

Mo Fei wielded his soul power to sweep around the condition, then, he looked at Gu Rui with a solemn expression, “In this desert, the star beast will not exceed level 8?”

Gu Rui nodded and said in pain, “Yes! But we’re not lucky. The team leader died when we met the sand crab.” Gu Rui’s face was full of sadness with deep worries on her face.

Mo Fei shook his head and said with regret, “I think it’s not because of bad luck. High-level star beasts in this desert have grown more. There were four level-8 star beasts within a hundred miles.”

Gu Rui covered her mouth and looked at Mo Fei in disbelief, “How do you know? You sure?”

“Yes. I found four level-8 star beasts. If I make a mistake, there will only be more, not less.” Mo Fei said with firmness.

“It shouldn’t be so dangerous here.” Gu Rui said in a panic.

Mo Fei shrugged, “Who knows.”

Lou Yu was eating crab meat gluttonously, bursts of purple light wafting from his body.

Gu Rui looked at Lou Yu with admiration, “Senior brother, you’re so amazing!”

Lou Yu smiled without answer. While Mo Fei interrupted, “Yes. His weight is really amazing!”

Then, he turned his head and looked at Lou Yu, “When have you gained more weight? Why don’t you tell me?”

Lou Yu blinked at Mo Fei innocently, “Feifei, don’t worry. I haven’t gained any weight at all. I won’t crush you in bed when I’m on the top.”

Mo Fei, “…”
