Tang Zui gave her a look and said, “Go and get a bowl.”

Gu Mian was taken aback. She had no idea what was on Tang Zui’s mind. He was so insane to the point that Gu Mian did not dare to predict his next move based on logic.

She quickly did as she was told and retrieved a bowl. Tang Zui furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at her. “Are you planning to eat with your hands?”

Gu Mian was rendered speechless. She immediately went to the kitchen to get a spoon. However, she still did not know what Tang Zui was trying to do.

By the time she returned to the dining hall, Tang Zui had already placed half of the dumplings in the empty bowl. Gu Mian placed the spoon inside the bowl and stood rooted in place, not knowing what to do. She did not know if she should leave.

“Sit down and eat! Don’t tell me that you want me to feed you!?” Tang Zui raised his head to look at the woman who was standing beside him like an idiot.

“Ah? Oh!” Gu Mian finally knew what he meant. ‘He’s letting me eat half of the dumplings?’

She sat down and took the bowl. She then lowered her head and started eating. She did not dare to assume things when it came to Tang Zui as she was extremely afraid of him. Aside from this, she did not know what was going on in his mind at all.

Tang Zui took a few bites and asked, “Why does this taste different compared to the dumplings I usually have?”

Gu Mian was so taken aback by his sudden question that she almost choked. She quickly said, “I made these dumplings myself and kept them in the freezer. They definitely taste different compared to the ones you get outside.”

Ever since Gu Mian was severely punished by Tang Zu for cooking the other day, she no longer dared to cook openly. This was why she secretly made dumplings and kept them in the freezer so that she could cook some whenever she was hungry.

Tang Zui remained silent for a moment. He remembered that this woman actually knew how to cook, but he had not seen her cook since he punished her for cooking the other day.

“Gu Mian, you better remember what I told you before… If I find out that you’re doing something wrong behind my back, I’ll break your leg!” Tang Zui sneered and warned her.

Gu Mian did not know what to say. ‘I knew it. This temperamental man would not be in a good mood for more than a few minutes.’

“Do you hear me!?” There was a hint of danger in Tang Zui’s gaze.

Gu Mian raised her head and looked sincerely at Tang Zui. “Since I’ve gotten married to you, I’ll try my best to be a good wife. I know what I should and shouldn’t do. If you’re talking about cheating, you don’t have to worry. I will never do something like that!”

Gu Mian’s tone was very earnest, and she was indeed telling the truth. She was innately a conservative woman, and this was why even after Tang Zui hurt her so much, she still chose to return to his home again and again. She believed that this was her responsibility as a wife.

Tang Zui fixed his gaze on her small, exquisite face and black eyes. He then sneered, “You better keep your word!”

When Gu Mian saw that he said nothing else, she heaved an internal sigh of relief. She then lowered her head and continued eating.

After Tang Zui finished eating, he suddenly pulled Gu Mian over. Gu Mian still had a dumpling in her mouth. She looked at him a little anxiously as he brought his lips to hers, stuck his tongue into her mouth to move the dumpling over to his mouth and ate it.

He then released her, rose and left.

Gu Mian was in a daze as she sat back down on the chair…

Tang Zui’s cell phone suddenly rang. He immediately went over and picked up the call. After he was done speaking on the phone, his expression became a lot grimmer.

Gu Mian was a little nervous, as she was scared that he would do something mean to her again. She intended to quickly wash the cutlery and return to the bedroom to sleep.

“You… go out with me for a while!” After Tang Zui said that, he grabbed her by the hand and dragged her out of the house.
