Su Qianxun was in despair. She now knew why the university director’s office was located in such a secluded area. Moreover, the university had set a rule that students were not allowed to go near the director’s office unless they had made a prior appointment.

‘It turns out that all those arrangements were made to ensure that he could commit these vile, perverted deeds with ease. God knows how many female students he has assaulted before me!’

As the director was whipping her in a frenzied manner, someone suddenly opened the office door.

The university director was startled and turned anxiously to face the intruder. Su Qianxun did the same. When she saw that the person who entered was her lecturer, Professor Yao, she pleaded for help almost immediately, “Professor Yao, help me!”

“Director Gao, what on earth are you doing? I’ve already given you a chance to repent in the past, but you keep repeating the same offense! I won’t let it slide again! Miss Su, don’t be afraid, I’ll save you!” Professor Yao said. He then whipped out his cell phone and was about to call the police.

Of course Director Gao would not allow Professor Yao to report him to the police. A murderous glint flashed past his eyes. ‘This old thing has known my secret for a long time, and even threatened me with it every now and then. Today, I can finally get rid of this stubborn old thing for good!’

Su Qianxun sensed that something was off. No longer worried about herself, she quickly shouted, “Quick, Professor Yao, get out of here! Get out of here now!”

It simply never occurred to Professor Yao that Director Gao was this wicked . Due to his rather poor eyesight, he squinted at the screen of his cell phone while comforting Su Qianxun. “Miss Su, don’t be afraid. I’m calling the police right now. He won’t dare to do anything to you in my presence… Ugh…”

Su Qianxun watched helplessly as Director Gao struck Professor Yao with a crystal trophy. The latter collapsed to the floor.

Her hands were tied to her back. She seized this opportunity to quickly scrabble for her phone. She dialed a random number.

She watched as Director Gao raise the trophy in his hand again and thwack Professor Yao, who had already collapsed to the floor, on the head. She yelled, “No, no! Director Gao, stop hitting him!”

Su Qianxun struggled frantically, trying to loosen the rope around her hands. But it was utterly impossible for her to untie herself. She could only watch helplessly as Director Gao landed a few more blows on Professor Yao. The professor’s head was bleeding non-stop, and his white hair was dyed red.

Su Qianxun kept shaking her head. She burst into tears and shrieked, “Why did you do that? You killed Professor Yao!”

Director Gao suddenly stood up and flashed an eerie smile. “No, you’re the one who killed Professor Yao!”

Su Qianxun’s eyes widened in disbelief. “What are you talking about?”

“It was you who killed Professor Yao, Miss Su, but I wasn’t able to stop you from doing so!” Director Gao walked towards Su Qianxun. He took her hands, placed her palms on the bloody trophy, and untied her.

“You’re too naive and gullible to fight against me…”

‘This old thing, Professor Yao found out that I’ve been forcing female students to sleep with me quite a long time ago. He’s threatened to expose me quite a number of times. Now, I finally managed to get rid of him, and a scapegoat just happened to be at the crime scene!’

“Qianxun!” When Mu Bai hurried to the director’s office and saw what was going on in the room, he dashed over and shoved the director away.

He stared anxiously at Su Qianxun, whose face was covered with bruises and red bumps. “Are you alright?” he asked.

“Save Professor Yao. Quick, go save him. He was beaten up by the director!” Su Qianxun pushed Mu Bai forward in an agitated manner.

Mu Bai’s heart ached as he gazed at the young woman who was covered with wounds and bruises. He glanced coldly and fiercely at the director and proceeded to check on Professor Yao first.

He examined the professor and furrowed his eyebrows. The professor was already dead.
