Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Products of the Great Expedition Era, Giant God Soldiers Legion

Three days later, in the evening.

[You have completed an overhaul of a Basic Mechanical Weapon. The difficulty of this task is rated as: Simple. You have gained 30 points of Professional Experience (Mechanic LV4), and 50 points of Skill Experience (Basic Mechanical Repair LV6)]

[You have completed maintenance of an Intermediate Mechanical Weapon. The difficulty of this task is rated as: Simple. You have gained 10 points of Professional Experience, and 15 points of Skill Experience]

[You have completed a repair on an Intermediate Mechanical Weapon. The difficulty of this task is rated as: Moderate. You have gained 50 points of Professional Experience and 100 points of Skill Experience...]

As each mechanical weapon is repaired and maintained in Su Yuʼs hands.

The system notification messages regarding experience points keep refreshing on Su Yuʼs system display screen.

Over the past three days, Su Yu dealt with the three boxes of weapons and parts acquired from Yang Lie, handling repairs, maintenance, and recycling as needed.

The experience gained was quite substantial.

However, as Su Yuʼs professional and skill levels increased,

his repair efficiency improved, but the experience gained from merely maintaining these basic and intermediate mechanical weapons decreased.

The efficiency of upgrading inevitably slowed down as well.

Fortunately, just as Su Yu finished repairing the last mechanical weapon in his hands,

he finally heard the long-anticipated upgrade chime.

[You have accumulated enough experience points. Your professional level has increased. Current Professional Level: Mechanic (LV5)]

[Your Professional Core Ability, Mechanical Affinity, has been synchronized for an upgrade...]

With the prompt sound falling,

after a day of repairs, Su Yuʼs somewhat fatigued spirit was suddenly invigorated, and his eyes brightened considerably.

Shaking his head, taking a deep breath, Su Yu looked at the old-fashioned rifle in his hands that assisted him in this upgrade, with satisfaction gleaming in his eyes.

This old-fashioned rifle might have been considered outdated during the Grand Expedition,

but on this Ruins Star, the technological content inside was quite high, reaching the level of an Intermediate Mechanical Weapon.

And, in terms of quality, after Su Yuʼs repairs, it rarely received the systemʼs evaluation of [Reliable Quality].

This weapon, Su Yu decided to keep as the flagship item of his repair shop, not easily for sale.

In the Sanctuary, there are several mechanics, each having their own repair shops. Besides completing repair tasks issued by the Sanctuary, they also collaborate with various hunting teams and even with Scavengers who gather around the Sanctuary.

By helping them repair and maintain weapons, they earn extra income. Sometimes, they would even purchase old firearms for repair and sell them at a high price, which is truly profitable.

Previously, when Su Yuʼs master was still around, they witnessed their masterʼs similar transactions, earning enough income for the two of them to enjoy a nutrition meal with Anger Scorpion Meat every day for half a month.

But since the master passed away, with only Su Yu sustaining the repair shop, just completing the orders issued by the Sanctuary was the limit.

Naturally, Su Yu had no spare time, and even if he did, few would willingly cooperate with him.

Not to mention, to other residents of the Sanctuary, the repair shop left to Su Yu by his master is already a significant asset, and if no one is trying to swallow it from under him, it already counts as good security in the Sanctuary.

But now, the situation has changed.

With excitement, Su Yu placed the old-fashioned rifle beside the shopʼs counter.

Rubbing his hands together, his gaze turned toward the strange disc placed at the top of the box in the repair shopʼs corner, filled with curiosity and anticipation!

He had a premonition.

With his recent promotion to LV5 and the boost from Mechanical Affinity, he should be able to figure out the mechanism within this disc!

Taking a deep breath, Su Yu stepped forward, carefully taking out the disc, studying it intently for a moment, and then gently pressing a catch at the back of the disc.

”Click!”

Accompanied by the sound of a mechanism falling into place,
