After Her Divorce, She Escaped With A Strong Man To Farm

Su Qing walked over and opened the window. Outside the window, there was a bamboo forest that was very elegant. She liked this room, it had a kind of tranquility that was far away from the hustle and bustle.

There was a soft knock on the door.

“Guest, I’m here to deliver some warm water for your bath.”

“Come in.”

Su Qing instantly wiped the smile off his face. She turned around and her expression became cold again as she ordered.

The door was pushed open and two soattendantcarried a large bath barrel into the room. Ji Xiaoying quickly got off the bed and hid behind Su Qing like a kitten who had made a mistake.

A smile appeared on Su Qing’s face. She pulled her to a chair and ordered the guard to make a pot of tea for her.

They had been drinking cold water the entire time now they had finally found a chance to drink tea.

“Yes!” the soattendanteplied. Soon, someone carried in a large bath barrel. The soattendantpoured hot water into the barrel, and the room was instantly filled with steam.

“Miss, please have some tea. This is the tea made by our shop. Please have a taste.”

The attendant carried a tray into the room. There were two plates of exquisite Jiangnan pastries on the tea tray. After placing the tea and refreshments, the messenger bowed respectfully and left to close the door.

“Big sister, this pastry looks so delicious.”

Ji Xiaoying looked at the two plates of refreshments with a fervent gaze. There was a soft golden cake and a crispy Osmanthus pastry. She had never even seen one before, let alone eat it.

“Eat!”

Su Qing smiled and picked up a piece of osmanthus cake. Ji Xiaoying only dared to pick up a piece of cake for herself after seeing that Su Qing had eaten. Her eyes lit up after she took a bite and she exclaimed excitedly at Su Qing, “Sister, it’s delicious. It’s really yummy.”

Su Qing’s mood lightened up when she saw her happy smile. She pushed the plate of soft cakes over and said, “You can have them all.”

Ji Xiaoying was not that selfish. She picked up a piece of cake and put it to Su Qing’s mouth. She said coyly, “Siister, eat too.”

Su Qing was touched by the warmth and lowered her head to take a bite. Ji Xiaoying impatiently asked her, “Sister, isn’t it delicious?”

“It is.”

Su Qing nodded. The tea at this inn was not bad. It was sweet but not overwhelming and had many layers to it. Even she, who didn’t have a sweet tooth, thought it was good.

Ji Xiaoying was elated to see that Su Qing thought the cake was as good as her. She passed the soft cake to Su Qing and picked up a piece of Osmanthus pastry for herself. She shouted at Su Qing as if she had discovered a new continent, “Sister, look, it’s so soft that it’s even breaking!”

Ji Xiaoying was afraid that it would go to waste, so she held the Osmanthus pastry in one hand and bit down on it with the other. The fragrance of the Osmanthus instantly exploded in her taste buds, and Ji Xiaoying was so happy that her eyes widened.

“Sister, this is delicious too.”

Su Qing smiled and shook his head. He really envied Ji Xiaoying. She was so easily satisfied and always so happy.

The two sisters finished the two plates of tea and drank a pot of tea. Su Qing undressed and stepped into the tub. The water temperature was just right, not too hot to the point of being unbearable. It was very comfortable to soak in.

Su Qing closed her eyes in the hot air. When she was a God of War, she liked to take a hot bath every time he came back from killing. Only in hot water could he sleep well.

“Big sister, there are still flower petals in the tub. It’s so fragrant.”

Hearing Ji Xiaoying’s excited voice, Su Qing opened her eyes and saw Ji Xiaoying holding a flower petal in her hand and looking at her excitedly.

The head attendant was considerate and placed flower petals in their barrels. The fragrance wafted up into their nostrils as the hot air swirled.

In her previous life, Su Qing didn’t like to add flower petals and essential oils into the water of her bath. But now, When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Smelling good was better than reeking of a pungent odor. Moreover, the fragrance of the flower petals was light, so she could accept it.

The two sisters were soaking comfortably in the bath barrel when someone knocked on the door.
