Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 153: Chapter 104-105: Teasing / Goodbye_3

Luo Ye quickly gave Luoyang a signal: ”Yangyang, stand here and don’t move.”

Luoyang, slightly stunned but trusting Luo Ye, didn’t ask why and just stood there holding Luo Ye’s hand, ”Sister Ye’er, I missed you so much.”

”Yangyang, I missed you too.” Luo Ye said as she gestured to Luo Shui who was approaching, ”Luo Shui, sit across from us.”

As Luo Shui sat down, she glanced at her sister in confusion: ”Why is Yangyang standing there?”

”Sister...” A little boy came over, his eyes brimming with tears, standing next to Luo Shui and looking at Luo Ye eagerly, ”Sister, do you still recognize me?”

”I do, is there something you need help with?” Luo Ye roughly guessed the reason after seeing the expressions of the mother and son.

”Sister, my mom doesn’t believe that the lady who just pinched my cheek would buy me so many delicious things, she scolded me and made me bring her here to find the lady to prove it, but it seems that the lady has already left. When you left, I saw you smile at me, Sister, you can prove it for me, right?”

”Yes, I can prove it for you!” Luo Ye turned to the middle-aged woman, ”Auntie, I can vouch for him, he’s telling the truth.”

”How could this be?” The middle-aged woman looked perplexed, ”Young girl, we are poor, but I don’t want my child to lack integrity. If he stole from others or took leftovers, I would not forgive him. I don’t want you to cover up for him.”

Luo Ye smiled, ”Auntie, I just met him at the door, I saw that girl order food for him, I am only stating the facts I saw. You can believe it or not, it’s up to you.”

The little boy tearfully looked at the middle-aged woman, ”Mom, I thought, you’ve never had KFC, I wanted to eat it with you, so I asked the Sister to pack it for us to carry home, really. If mom doesn’t like it, I won’t let people pinch my cheek anymore.”

The middle-aged woman hugged the little boy, ”Dongdong...”

”Auntie, it was me who pinched him, and I bought the food!” Yan Xingnong suddenly stood up, startling Luoyang who was standing next to Luo Ye.

”Sister, you haven’t left yet.” The little boy looked surprised.

”Yes, hehe...” Xing Nong looked embarrassingly at the middle-aged woman, ”Sorry, Auntie, I... hehe... I forced Luo Ye to cover for me, don’t blame her.”

Luo Ye, speechless, touched her forehead, thinking, this girl, she couldn’t keep calm. The kid’s mom already looked convinced, why did she have to jump out!

The middle-aged woman shook her head repeatedly, ”No blame, no blame, he said you agreed to pinch his cheeks and let him order anything he liked, I really couldn’t believe such good things could happen, I should be the one thanking you, I could never bring myself to let him eat KFC...” she said, looking at the little boy with pity, ”Dongdong, mom apologizes to you, I shouldn’t have hit you without understanding the situation, but mom really was worried you would lack backbone...”

The little boy interrupted the middle-aged woman, ”Mom, don’t worry, I will definitely be a child with integrity, study hard, take care of mom in the future, and make dad regret.”

”Yes, mom is waiting for her son to make her proud.” The middle-aged woman looked at Luo Ye and Yan Xingnong, ”Young ladies, thank you.”

”Thank you, Sisters, goodbye!”

”Auntie goodbye! Dongdong goodbye!”

”...”

As the mother and son left the restaurant, Xing Nong slapped her forehead suddenly, ”Luo Ye, I’m leaving too, if fate allows, we’ll meet again, bye!”

”Bye!”

”Sister Ye’er, what’s up with her?” Luoyang looked flabbergasted as he watched Yan Xingnong run out, clearly visible through the glass catching up with the mother and son, chattering animatedly.

”While waiting for you, I just met that friend, a very cute and fun girl. Hurry up and sit down Yangyang, you’ve been standing for so long, are you tired?”

Luoyang laughed blissfully, ”Not tired, how could I be tired standing next to Sister Ye’er? Look at my brother, how diligent, he went to order on his own initiative.”

Luo Ye affectionately ruffled Luoyang’s hair, ”It’s because he dotes on you, his sister.”

”Hehe..., I can’t imagine what my life would be like without my brother, he really knows how to take care of people, he has been taking care of me since I was 6.” Luoyang said with a proud face, clearly admiring her brother.

Luo Shui walked over with a plate in each hand and placed them down, ”Luo Ye, I also know what you like to eat, so I ordered a meal to Yangyang’s standards.”
