The President is Being Shameless Again

His voice was soft and came out like a low growl. It was a little ragged as well, perhaps because of the fatigue. However, it sounded as sweet as ever.

It was the middle of the night, so it was quiet and there were no other sounds nearby. There was only falling snow and sounds of a slight breeze of wind blowing to accompany the pair as they said their goodbyes. However, the wind was blocked by the car window, such that the sound was unable to penetrate through.

The car heater was on, making the whole space turned cozy. This made his husky and mellow voice sound melodic in such a quiet and warm atmosphere.

It almost resembled like a clock that ticked away slowly ever so quietly.

“Trust me, I’ll do what’s right. Just wait for me at home tomorrow, okay?” Wei Zilin held Xu Moyan’s hand as he raised his tone whilst saying the last syllable in his sentence again. It was as if he trying to coax a child.

Xu Moyan had no resistance toward this excessively dotting way of speaking, so she simply nodded in a lovable manner.

“Then, I’ll go up now. Be careful on the road.” Xu Moyan said.

“Okay, I’ll send you a message via WeChat once I’m home. If you’re asleep, there’s no need to reply to me.” Wei Zilin said as he did not want to disturb her rest.

She experienced heaps of psychological ups and downs today. Although she was angry at her own distrust at first, she became distressed again after the said anger disappeared.

She was at home unaware of what was happening, and the only thing she knew was the apprehensiveness and nervousness she had felt at the time.

“I won’t fall asleep. I’ll wait for you.” Xu Moyan said hurriedly, making her look somewhat foolish. “I… I’ll just keep my eyes locked on WeChat.”

Wei Zilin could not help but laugh and nodded.

As Xu Moyan opened the door and was about to get off, her hand was dragged back by Wei Zilin.

She turned around, looking puzzled.

Wei Zilin was tearing up from laughing as he said, “You’re leaving just like that? No gestures or whatsoever?”

Xu Moyan stared at him blankly. What gesture could he possibly want?

Then, Wei Zilin’s gently tapped his beautiful lips with his long forefinger, making an obvious indication.

Xu Moyan could not help but smile at him. She had successfully gotten herself a prince charming and could dilly dally in his embrace at any given time. There was no need for her to ask permission before kissing him or touching him, and even her ears would be able to constantly enjoy his A-grade voice. It was the kind of treatment his female fans could never imagine receiving. Why on earth would she still be unhappy?

She became cheery just thinking about it and knew in her heart that she had gained so much more than she had expected.

Although she was still confused about what the prince charming saw in her, upon seeing her idol’s sweet expression and those beautiful lips that appeared to have honey smeared all over it, how could Xu Moyan refuse?

She quickly leaned over and kissed him on the lips before pulling away to say goodbye once more. However, she was stunned when Wei Zilin pulled her back before pressing her against the door to kiss her fiercely.

Both of her wrists were held firmly against the window as if he was imprisoning her. His movements were intense, but it clearly expressed his love for her. The emotions he felt were passed on to her via the kiss, burning a hole right through her heart.

After releasing Xu Moyan and seeing her stupefied expression, Wei Zilin pecked her lips a couple more times.

He rubbed her lips with his fingertips and said, “I’ll send you up. I don’t feel comfortable after seeing your current appearance.”

Xu Moyan lost her ability to answer him. Thus, she could only watch as Wei Zilin got out of the car and go around to her side before helping her out of the vehicle.

The cold wind and snowflakes outside woke her up, so Xu Moyan was clear-headed by the time they reached the elevator. Only her lips were numb and quite swollen such that it no longer looked like her own. She wondered how much force he had kissed her with earlier on.

There were only two of them in the elevator, and Wei Zilin’s eyes were shining as he kept staring at her. Xu Moyan found it embarrassing and became distracted about how to position her hands.

Eventually, she placed them inside her pockets and felt the bulging leather inside. Only then did she realize that his gloves had been with her this whole time.
