The President is Being Shameless Again

Originally, when Zheng Yuntong had said that the person she had a crush on was not Wei Zilin, Guan Zexi had trouble believing her. Zheng Yuntong’s circle of friends was not that large, so she would usually only be in touch with staff from Lin Yi and barely had contact with her fellow classmates.

If one were to take scan Lin Yi from top to bottom, only Wei Zilin would be able to successfully meet all of the criteria. At least, this was the case from Guan Zexi’s perspective.

However, now that he saw that Xu Moyan was standing beside Wei Zilin. Guan Zexi was not very sure anymore.

Perhaps Zheng Yuntong was well aware of this, but she was still secretly in love with Wei Zilin anyway?

Wei Zilin stopped in his tracks and nodded toward Guan Zexi courteously.

Guan Zexi smiled as he asked, “Is Lin Yi very busy today? Yuntong was in the middle of a meal with me when she was called back to the office.”

Xu Moyan listened from the side and felt terrible for this fellow. It was evident that Zheng Yuntong did not like him very much. After all, it was not easy to make a foodie give up fine food and look for an excuse to leave after eating only half of her meal.

Wei Zilin paused before nodding. “Yeah, there was an emergency.”

Guan Zexi had nothing else to add since Wei Zilin had confirmed it, so he hurriedly left.

Xu Moyan then got into the car with Wei Zilin. Whilst in the car, Xu Moyan sent a message via WeChat to Zheng Yuntong. “What happened at noon today? Tell me the deets quickly!”

…

Zheng Yuntong had come back to the Public Relations Department with Shen Zongyi holding on to her hand the whole way. Thus, it was inevitable that there would be discussions about them. This was why she had followed Shen Zongyi back to his office and stayed there for a while with him.

Shen Zongyi did this to protect her and to show their colleagues in the company that he really valued her.

When they reached the entrance of the Public Relations Department, Zheng Yuntong said embarrassedly, “President Wei will be back soon, so go back quickly.”

Shen Zongyi nodded and replied, “I’ll go in after you.”
