The President is Being Shameless Again

In Wei Zilin’s opinion, Xu Moyan had a nice voice as well. It was an honest voice that was clear and melodious. She spoke a little too quickly and he could tell that she was someone who was a little impatient and did not like to waste time when handling work. Xu Moyan’s voice also told him that she was a straightforward person and was not very fussy.

“When I was younger, I never liked winter because it was so cold, but later, there was a really popular Korean drama called ‘Winter Sonata’. Do you remember that? The main characters wore big coats and had scarves wrapped around them which they often hid their chins into. When they spoke, you could see wisps of white smoke appearing from their mouths. Everything in the movie looked so pristine and crystal clean.”

Xu Moyan smiled and looked toward Wei Zilin. He was looking straight ahead while he drove and listened on. “From then onwards, I realized that winter was really beautiful.”

Wei Zilin smiled lightly and turned toward her while they were at a red light.

For some reason, he had a deep look in his eyes, with his dark soulful eyes seemingly focusing on her and pulling her into them.

Xu Moyan wanted to turn away from his gaze, but she found herself unable to do so. Her lips opened slightly as she let herself fall into his eyes. She just could not pull away from his face.

“I think I might like the winter too,” Wei Zilin said lightly. His voice was deep and warm, like sitting next to a warm fireplace in a wooden cabin on a snowy day. Xu Moyan could feel the golden light from the fireplace shine on her, warming her up from head to toe.

Xu Moyan felt like he wanted to say something more, but Wei Zilin quickly turned back to face the front as the light turned green before continuing to drive.

Actions like this could easily make Xu Moyan’s mind go into overdrive.

Xu Moyan silently thought about something else as she turned to look outside the window.

There was a couple by the roadside holding hands. The girl’s hand must have been cold because the boy had held her hand and placed it into his coat pocket. The girl then lifted her head and gave the boy a sweet smile.

Xu Moyan smiled too. She was envious of them and felt at a loss.
