The President is Being Shameless Again

Once, Xu Moyan had come home from work early, she was cooking at home and made extra to share with Zheng Yuntong. Zheng Yuntong’s cooking skills belonged in the line that she just had to make sure the food was cooked through before eating them. After that, the relationship between the two grew closer. Then the next day, Zheng Yuntong saw the video she had posted online and noticed, was that not her own house? Even the tablewares looked familiar. Then, she became aware of Xu Moyan’s identity, and the two’s relationship got ultimately closer.

If Zheng Yuntong were around, she would be the one holding on to the phone and take the video for her.

From then on, the matters of cooking in the house were handed over to Xu Moyan, and Zheng Yuntong would be responsible for washing the dishes.

Zheng Yuntong took the mobile phone and pointed it toward Xu Moyan’s hands. Xu Moyan’s hands were gorgeous. They were slim and fair, and her fingers were slender. Her fingertips were sharp and looked as tender as a scallion. If one were to watch Xu Moyan’s videos, it was a pleasure to just look at her hands.

Xu Moyan cooked the instant noodles and rinsed it through running water twice. It was to rid of the oil and preservatives on the noodles. Then, she placed it on the side. Next, onions, garlic cloves, and carrots were finely cut before tossed into the pan for frying. She mashed the tomatoes into a thick paste and mixed it with the instant noodles’ flavored powder and soy sauce packet, then added some water into the mix. It was added to the vegetables and simmered to a thick sauce before being poured onto the cooked instant noodles.

“An instant noodle version of pasta. Here, take it and go eat,” Xu Moyan gave the plate to Zheng Yuntong.

“Wow! Moyan, you’re an angel sent from above. It smells so good!” Zheng Yuntong took the plate and smelled it as she swallowed her saliva. “I’ll take it over from here; I’ll do the dishes after eating.”

“Go and eat, don’t worry about it. I’ll clean up here,” Xu Moyan said, already placing the pan into the sink.

Zheng Yuntong did not try to be formal and walked away with the plate of noodles.

Xu Moyan cleaned up and returned to her bedroom, the campaign had begun, but because Yu Linling had not shown up, Xu Moyan started to edit the video she took earlier as she listened to the interview. Perfection was made by practice, as she had produced videos lots of time, she was fast in editing and adding in the subtitles as well as the soundtrack.

She played it once from start to finish, and there seemed to be no issues found. Then, she checked if her logo and also Weibo address and account were there and proceeded to upload it to Weibo via Miaopai. (TN: Miaopai (Chinese: 秒拍) is a Chinese video sharing and live streaming service.)

Afterward, she added in a paragraph, ‘The roommate wanted to eat instant noodles whilst watching The Empress. But instant noodles are not healthy, so I changed it up a little for her. Those that are way too lazy to cook but think that instant noodles are unhealthy can check this out. If you guys have eaten earlier, and fried food is too greasy, you can try and wash the noodles after cooking them to rid of the preservatives. Try rolling them into small pieces using chopsticks and fry them up, then poured the sauce all over. It’s a whole new flavor, ( o )/’

Then, she looked at the screen and found that it was the cover singer from the ancientry community turn to sing. His fans were frantically gifting to cover the costs for stage props and were unceasingly flooding the forum. He was much more popular than the singer that came out before him.

While listening to the song, Xu Moyan took her phone to refresh the comment section, and not long after she had posted, there were already 132 comments on her video.

“The OP is the good roommate of China.”

“I’m so jealous. Are you still looking for a roommate? A type that likes to eat and drink.”

“It looks easy and convenient. The ingredients could easily be found around the house. I’ll test it out tomorrow!”

At this time, the ancientry singer had gone off his mic. The host, Cold Song of Muye’s voice, started to ring through, “It’s 10 o’clock now. Yu Linling, my liege, is current on the line. Let us welcome Yu Linling, our liege!”
