Chapter 1175: Chapter 340: Battle for the Stone (Double-Length, Bonus for Alliance Hierarch Saint Sage Hui’s Counterattack 1/2)_6

[Dream Termination: Upstairs, stop just watching the fights! For the contestants, in this stage, the gains from battles are not as high as those from finding Water Crystal Stones. If they really start fighting, it’d be like picking up sesame seeds and losing watermelons.]

[Annoying Xiao Ling: Look quickly, Lin God just collected dozens more Water Crystal Stones in one wave, he should have nearly three thousand by now, right? It’s terrifying!]

[...]

Looking at the various comment streams in the live broadcast room, Song Luo spoke with a smile, ”The first round of the stone-snatching battle actually involves examining many aspects.”

”During the phase of collecting Water Crystal Stones, contestants with faster speeds will have a greater advantage, but they also need to bear the corresponding risks.”

”Because just as we can think of the advantages of speed, other contestants can think of it too.” Song Luo smiled slightly, ”So, as the countdown phase approaches, the faster contestants will become more targeted.”

”And the contestants do not know their own ranking in terms of the number of Water Crystal Stones obtained throughout the process, which means they must search for as many Water Crystal Stones as possible to ensure they get a higher rank.”

Speaking up to this point, a strange look flashed in Song Luo’s eyes, ”Here’s some good news for everyone, the contestants in the field can’t know their own rankings, but in our live broadcast room, we can monitor the number of Water Crystal Stones each contestant has at any time, providing real-time rankings.”

As he spoke, the screen quickly switched to a ranking table.

This ranking table had the names of one hundred contestants, with the number of Water Crystal Stones each contestant had right after their names.

”Limited by space, only the top one hundred will be made public in the live broadcast room.” Song Luo paused, ”I believe what everyone is most concerned about are these one hundred spots that can advance, right?”

At this moment, the audience didn’t have time to pay attention to Song Luo, they were quickly searching through the ranked contestants to find the ones they were following.

On this list, two names were most eye-catching because these two contestants were not only at the top of the list, but the number of Water Crystal Stones they possessed far exceeded the others.

Silver Rainbow, 4874 pieces.

Lin Su, 4336 pieces.

The number of Water Crystal Stones behind these two names was increasing every moment, seemingly without end.

And the contestant in third place had only over two thousand pieces at the moment.

[Red Tea Soy Milk: Lin God is amazing! With this efficiency in collecting Water Crystal Stones, the top one hundred is secured!]

[Thousand Prosperity: So what if he gets into the top hundred? Still saying, if Lin Su gets into the top ten, I’ll wash my hair standing upside down!]

[Such Elegant Interest: Ilin, right? Lin God will definitely get into the top ten! You just wait, I’ll remember you!]

[...]

The audience’s comments were getting more and more heated in the comment streams.

Song Luo looked at the comment stream and smiled slightly, ”Actually, this level has a guaranteed mechanism.”

”Although every contestant doesn’t know their current ranking, if they can ensure their number of Water Crystal Stones remains at a certain value when the stone-snatching battle is over, they can be 100% sure to enter the second round.”

”Can anyone guess what this value is?”

...

”Six thousand pieces!”

Lin Su’s figure flashed, descending to a certain place, and with a quick move, he gathered the Water Crystal Stones that hadn’t been collected by other contestants there, a few traces of a smile appearing on his face, ”Just four thousand short of a full ten thousand.”

On the whole island, there were a million pieces of Water Crystal Stones.

Averaging among every contestant means a thousand pieces per person.

But if only acquiring a thousand pieces, it is impossible to get into the top one hundred.

At least one needs ten thousand Water Crystal Stones to ensure being within the top hundred.

Because if one hundred contestants each obtain ten thousand Water Crystal Stones, the entire island’s Water Crystal Stones would be divided.

The remaining nine hundred contestants naturally can’t all end up without any, and the top one hundred contestants can’t all obtain the same number of stones.
