Beast Taming Patrol

Chapter 1173: Chapter 340: Battle for the Stone (Double-Length, Bonus for Alliance Hierarch Saint Sage Hui’s Counterattack 1/2)_4

Every contestant advancing to the second round must make a trade-off.

As for the third-round Champion Battle, the competition format is relatively conventional.

The ranking for the top ten contestants is determined by the number of Water Crystal Stones obtained in the Gem Snatch Battle and the number of opponents defeated in the Infinite Battle.

The last two contestants in the ranking directly receive the ninth and tenth positions and do not participate in the Champion Battle.

Afterwards, the remaining top eight contestants draw lots for the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals, a total of three rounds of battles to decide their rankings against each other.

The rewards for the top ten are actually not much different; although there are different rewards, the most precious is the quota for entering the Divine Court Secret Realm.

The reason for holding the final Champion Battle is probably because the organizers felt it would be somewhat informal to just end after selecting the top ten.

Since it’s a competition, how could it be without a champion?

“The last round doesn’t matter, let’s focus on smoothly passing the first two rounds!” Lin Su said with a smile, stroking Youyou’s head.

The rules for tomorrow’s competition meant Qiuqiu and Guigui would no longer have the chance to participate.

“Hmm! Hmm! (⑅˃◡˂⑅)” (Top ten isn’t enough! We want first!)

Youyou waved her little hands, her face full of blazing fighting spirit, and her serious expression was extremely adorable.

Although the initial reason for participating in this competition was to enter the Divine Court Secret Realm and find the slot that could hatch that mysterious egg, completing its incubation.

But this is also an opportunity for Youyou, who has just completed her metamorphosis and evolution, to prove herself.

“Alright, alright, then strive for first.” Lin Su chuckled.

What’s it like to have a beast pet more motivated than yourself?

Winning first in this competition is not easy.

This means Lin Su and Youyou need to defeat the hottest candidate for the champion of this tournament, Yinhong.

The stage nine space system rule comprehension is just a part of Yinhong’s strength.

Because the Silver-winged Flash Gull is a dual-type creature of water and space.

A multi-attribute beast wanting to break through to immortality needs each attribute to surpass the stage nine rule comprehension and enter the first realm of rules, and Yinhong is just short of the space type.

This means its water type rules have already entered the first realm.

Although it lacks an immortal’s body and the constant energy level of an immortal, having a preliminary grasp of immortal power means Yinhong’s strength cannot be measured by typical imperial standards.

Even with the Power of Shattering, Youyou is still lacking in some respects.

But Youyou has another trump card.

With that trump card, defeating Yinhong might not be impossible.

“Since the goal is to be first, then we need to know ourselves and our enemies.” Lin Su opened the communicator, “Let’s start watching the competition videos of the other contestants now!”

“We need to know who tomorrow’s opponents are!”

“Keh!” (Let me help!)

Guigui quickly took out her communicator and started summarizing and collating it.

Since she can’t help in combat, she might as well assist in other areas!

“Meow! (｡òωó｡)” (I’ll join too!)

Qiuqiu pulled out her communicator with cute cat paws and got busy as well.

Even if this isn’t directly taking first place by herself, it still provides a sense of participation!

…

An uneventful night passed.

In the blink of an eye, it was the next morning.

Lin Su woke up to the alarm, sitting up from bed.

Afterwards, intertwined light patterns of pale purple, the three little ones with thrilled yet tense expressions quickly appeared in the room.

After another day of lessons at Shenwu, Youyou felt increasingly confident about today’s battle!

“Let’s head out, we’ll get there early and do some prior observation of the floating island’s environment.” Having washed up and dressed neatly, Lin Su checked the time, his expression turning serious, “I think today’s competition floating island should have undergone a dramatic transformation.”

“Keh!” (Let’s go!)

With a thought, Guigui instantly transported all four to the competition’s floating island.

Or rather, it’s hard to call this a floating island anymore.
