Summoning Millions of Gods Daily, My Strength Equals Theirs Combined

Chapter 665: Chapter665-The Emperor’s Will — Submit or Go to War

The two Eternal Sage–rank existences of the Arcane Godsea joined forces with the Star River Lord and the Primordial Elder.

Their every strike was like heavenly punishment, reducing swath after swath of quasi-eternal Sages to ash.

They stepped into the Fate River, wielding fate itself as a blade and drawing upon the power of destiny to hunt down with perfect precision those Eternal Sages whose ranks had been forcibly elevated through conversion.

Unlike those holy devotees, these few had borne heavenly destiny through their own strength.

They were true Eternal Sages.

The taboo power they possessed was far beyond anything those devotees, who had ascended by relying on the heavenly kingdom’s fortune, could compare to.

After the angels fled, the five remaining Children of Commandment also quietly vanished into the depths of chaos.

Aurek did not pursue them.

His gaze fell upon the two Eternal Sages of the Arcane Godsea, the Star River Lord, and the Primordial Elder, his eyes deep and unreadable.

These people were the purest Eternal Sages in this entire Star Sea.

In terms of strength, they were not actually inferior to those Children of Commandment or the angels.

What they lacked was merely that mysterious sacred resonance.

That was a power beyond the source of laws, something almost akin to divine revelation.

Precisely because they were suppressed by that sacred resonance, they had not dared to act and had instead chosen to withdraw.

Now that his strength had surpassed the Eternal Sage rank, Aurek had gained a deeper understanding of that realm.

The greatest difference between an Eternal Sage and a Supreme Sage was this:

The former could descend into the Fate River, glimpse the threads of destiny, and even alter the course of their own fate.

That was what it meant to bear heavenly destiny.

Once one possessed the qualification to bear heavenly destiny, one also gained the highest authority over the origin of the Star Sea and over the Fate River.

Those Children of Commandment and angels only knew how to comprehend origin and borrow sacred resonance. In that respect, they were far inferior to true Eternal Sages.

And more importantly, those Children of Commandment could never cross the threshold of Divine Revelant.

Yet an Eternal Sage who bore heavenly destiny might be able to do so.

Perhaps so-called Divine Revelant referred to beings capable of walking upon the Fate River itself.

When he had sought guidance from the God of Temptation, she had in fact already explained these things.

It was simply that, at the time, Aurek had not even known that the rank called ”Divine Revelant” existed.

Divine Revelants were true gods, utterly different from all the sacred ranks beneath them.

A Divine Revelant could cross the Fate River, walk into the past, and also move toward the future.

For example, if Aurek stepped into that rank, he could enter the Fate River and trace it back six or seven years—

to the node of fate on the Fasior Plains of the Endless Continent, and witness everything that had happened in that moment.

He could also follow the flow of fate and glimpse a future that had yet to come.

A sufficiently powerful Divine Revelant could even conceal their own destiny.

To those weaker than them, there would be no secrets at all.

That was Divine Revelant.

To pass through time and space, to survey past and future, and to rule over oneself.

The great war in the Star Sea still raged on.

Aurek flicked his sleeve.

The Thousand Sword Judgment Domain unfolded once more, erasing countless Eternal Sage–rank holy devotees in an instant.

With these formidable enemies gone, the pressure on the Primordial Elder and the others eased greatly.

The armies of the Crossbridge Divine Court joined forces with the experts of the surrounding starfields and launched an all-out extermination of the remaining holy devotees.

This massacre continued for two full days.

At last, the surviving holy devotees broke and retreated.

The war ended in a complete victory for the Crossbridge Divine Court.

The Divine Court’s armies had lost one to two hundred billion troops, and even the quasi-eternal Sage–rank void warlocks and Doomsday Warriors had suffered over a billion casualties.

As for the powerhouses of the various starfields, their dead and wounded were beyond count.
