In order to reaffirm Huang Yize that she really could do it, Yun Bilu quickly tried to stand up but when she did, her body was truly aching beyond measure.

Worry welled up in his heart upon seeing that. Even if this girl didn’t care for herself, his heart ached for her.

Huang Yize quickly pushed her down so that she would lie down.

“Be good and rest for these two days. Don’t eat those unhealthy things, alright? I will make things that are lighter for you.”

Without thinking, Yun Bilu grumbled, “Lighter things are so bland.” There were a lot of things she wanted to eat.

Huang Yize’s expression shifted, and he replied resignedly, “I’m making your meals for you and you’re acting like this. How about you make your own meals?”

Yun Bilu grinned and blinked innocently. “You can bear to let me make my own meals?”

It was the first time Huang Yize was left speechless by what Yun Bilu said. Naturally, he couldn’t bear to let her get up and make her own meals.

Looking at her frail form who was still trying hard to smile, Huang Yize controlled his expression. Pursing his lips, he said, “The taste of lighter food was not bad, you know. You’ll see once you try it.”

With her like this, he really didn’t want to berate her. Upsetting her would only hurt his own heart.

“Okay.”

Yun Bilu knew that her boyfriend wasn’t good at placating people, but that gentle statement to coax her made her feel warm inside.

Having a presidential suite was good since there were many amenities. The kitchen was huge and was stocked up with groceries as well.

Huang Yize made a call and not long after, new groceries were delivered.

He then busied himself in the kitchen.

Yun Bilu’s smile disappeared from her face. Despite being fatigued when she woke up, she intentionally acted playful because that was the only way not to worry Huang Yize.

She looked at her elbow that already had medication applied on it. Looking towards the kitchen, her nose soured.

She had a strong-headed personality since she was young. Whenever she got injured or sad, she always kept them within herself. Before middle school, her grandfather and elder sister would care for her.

Afterwards, when she went abroad, she treated herself when she got injured. When she got used to it, she stopped caring so much for her own health.

But now, she had Huang Yize. With her injured, he would take care of her, keep her company, cook for her, and his heart would ache for her…

Those were things she didn’t dare to hope back then, but now, it made her feel so very warm. She was no longer alone. The feeling of being doted on by her boyfriend was really, really great.

She no longer had to shoulder everything by herself.

When Huang Yize was done cooking, Yun Bilu had once again fallen asleep on the bed.

Huang Yize couldn’t bear to wake her up, but it had been twenty hours or so since she last ate. If he allowed her to continue sleeping, her stomach wouldn’t be able to take it.

“Bilu? Bilu? Wake up.”

This was the first time Huang Yize had to wake someone up, and he called on softly.

After all, as the Young Master of the Black Dragon Gang, Huang Yize was a ruthless and decisive person. He had no need to be gentle. Since he got together with Yun Bilu, he had experienced so many first times.

When Yun Bilu woke up, Huang Yize carried her to wash up before carrying her to the table to eat.

“Huang Yize, you treat me too well. If you don’t treat me well in the future, I… I…” Even after half a day, Yun Bilu couldn’t think of what to say, so she could only sniff.

Looking at how she was acting, Huang Yize had the urge to chuckle. “What will you do if I don’t treat you well?”

“Hmph. I will ignore you then.”

“Don’t think too much. That day won’t come.”
