Xie Limo looked down and avoided Yun Bixue’s eyes, ignoring her expression.

Yun Bixue knew that she could only have two, and she was still very grateful. She thought that she could not have any at first, so eating two was better than eating none at all.

Furthermore, her husband had not even had one piece!

“Limo, I’m done eating, but you haven’t eaten any yet.”

“I don’t like to eat seafood. Quick, let’s eat!”

“Oh.” Yun Bixue remembered that Xie Limo did not say anything about not liking seafood before. However, he did not look like he was lying. Did she remember it wrongly?

Xie Limo was lying to Yun Bixue when he said this. It was not that he did not like eating seafood, he just felt that if he said that, it would make Yun Bixue feel better.

Furthermore, if he prepared a whole plate of prawns and he ate while she watched, he would not be able to do it. Hence, he would rather not eat it at all and give her two pieces to eat.

This would put his heart at ease.

As the war in Country X drew to a close, Yun Bixue did not need to feel troubled by it anymore, so Xie Limo was assured to let her watch the TV and news again.

Since Yun Dong said that Majesty Huang’s press conference will air in the afternoon, she sat on the sofa to wait right after she finished eating.

Xie Limo took the remote control from her hands and said, “Weren’t you tired just now? Don’t just sit down after eating. Walk around for a bit before going back to the bedroom to sleep.”

“I’m not sleepy now. I want to watch TV.”

“No, listen to me. If not, you won’t get a good rest.”

“I want to watch the live broadcast. Majesty Huang’s press conference will surely be aired live.”

Xie Limo’s gaze flickered as he coaxed her. “Go and sleep first. I will wake you up when it starts. It usually starts at two, and it’s only twelve-thirty now.”

Yun Bixue knew that she had to put the well-being of her child first. Her child was the dearest to her, so even if she did not feel sleepy, she would still walk around for a bit before going to sleep to ensure that she got enough rest.

“Alright. Remember to wake me up, okay?”

“Okay.” Xie Limo smiled as he caressed Yun Bixue’s hair.

Yun Bixue walked around in the living room for a while. She stretched her arms for a bit before going back to the bedroom to sleep.

The moment Yun Bixue lay down, Xie Limo came in as well.

He put on his clothes properly and lifted the covers to hug Yun Bixue as he said, “I’ll keep you company. Sleep now. I’ve set the alarm at one-forty.”

He still remembered the words Yun Bixue said in the morning when they were in the study, so he wanted to keep her company and let her sleep soundly.

Yun Bixue rested her head on Xie Limo’s elbow and started to sleep.

Everyone in the capital was excited this afternoon as they heard the news that Majesty Huang was going to hold a press conference to announce his return to the imperial scene.

Many people looked forward to Majesty Huang’s return. They never imagined that the retired Majesty Huang would make a comeback.

They were really very excited.

This afternoon, many people waited expectantly in front of their TVs for the live broadcast.

Some people even went to the designated location ahead of time to see it for themselves.

Yun Dong got a reporter’s pass and entered the venue with the other reporters. Her plan was to seize any chance to stand up and ask some questions.

Finally, at two in the afternoon, Majesty Huang slowly arrived at the venue with the imperial guards,

The moment the host saw Majesty Huang, he immediately went up on stage and started speaking, “Today is an important day. Six years ago, our Majesty Huang had once announced publicly that he will retire from politics and will no longer interfere in political affairs and imperial family matters. And today, our Majesty has announced that he will return… His Majesty will answer all questions related to this matter, as well as the questions from the reporters…”
