Xie Limo listened carefully to his mother’s words. He would be extra careful about the things he needed to take note of.

The reason why he did not make the call in front of Bixue was to not let her feel stressed.

Ji Qiongxin was worried on the other end as well. “Limo, by right, I should be there to take care of Bixue, but…”

Before Ji Qiongxin could finish, Xie Limo interrupted her and said, “Mother, I understand. Our Xie family is special. It’s already very good that you and father can help us suppress everything at the headquarters.”

“But I just feel like I’ve let Bixue down. She’s a good lady, so you must…”

“Mother, I know. I will take good care of her. We have many secret guards and servants around. She’s just not used to other people taking care of her and waiting on her.”

“Okay, you should spend more time and effort on her. It’s not easy for a woman to be pregnant for almost ten months. You might not understand, but I experienced this before, so I understand it the best. Even if I feel upset, I can only keep it to myself. When I was young, I kept a lot of troubles to myself too. If I say it out loud, it will only burden your father. Why should I let both of us suffer? That’s why I never said anything whenever I faced a problem… I’m telling you this so you can understand what Bixue is going through right now…”

“Mother, I understand.”

…

When Xie Limo went back, Yun Bixue was already sitting before the table and trying her best to eat her food bite by bite.

Xie Limo’s face turned aghast. He walked briskly over to her side and asked in a gentle voice, “Xue, are you feeling better? Can you eat now?”

Yun Bixue swallowed a mouthful of porridge before smiling at Xie Limo. “Limo, I’m fine.”

Limo finally heaved a sigh of relief. He passed the Tanghulu and haw jelly over to her and said, “Have some of these. It will make you feel better.”

Seeing the bag full of Tanghulu and haw jelly, it was as if three lines appeared on Yun Bixue’s head. “Limo, there’s so much here. How can I finish everything? Also, Tanghulu melts easily. Haw jelly is still okay, but eating too much of it will make me sick of it too.”

Xie Limo’s brows slightly twitched. He did not think about that and just bought them because he thought that she was craving for sour stuff. Actually, as long as it was something she wanted, he would think of all ways to get it for her.

“Xue, this Tanghulu comes in different flavors. I’ll put then in the fridge. You can take it out to eat whenever you want. I will put the haw jelly in the kitchen too. If you still want to eat anything else, I will buy it for you.”

Hearing Xie Limo’s words, Yun Bixue felt really sweet inside, and a faint red glow appeared on her pale face.”Access ReadReadReadNovelFull.live if you like watching manga, comics.

Although morning sickness was horrible and hard to bear, with him doting on her so much, it was all worth it.

Wasn’t it just ten months? It would be sweet, even if it was bitter and tough.

Xie Limo put the rest in the fridge and took out one Tanghulu for Yun Bixue. “Eat this, so your stomach will feel a little better. Don’t eat this food anymore. They’ve already turned cold. I will prepare something new for you, alright? I just learned a new dish.”

Yun Bixue’s heart also ached for Xie Limo as she said, “Just let the servants prepare the meals. You don’t have to do all these. It’s almost spring, so you can go and work on other things. Won’t you feel tired of me when you stick to me every day?”

“What are you saying? If I stick to you every day, will you feel tired of me?”

“No, I will just feel worried…” When she said this, Yun Bixue stopped herself from saying more.

Xie Limo’s expression changed slightly. He was afraid that Yun Bixue was keeping her thoughts to herself, and that would make her stressed, so he asked anxiously, “What are you worried about?”
