“Bilu, I’m fine. You don’t have to be this nervous.”

Yun Bilu replied, “You’re my boyfriend, so of course I have to worry for you.”

Yun Bilu’s words were domineering and left no room for discussion. However, Huang Yize felt that no matter what his girl said, she was great and always cute.

After entering the house, Yun Bilu took the initiative to help Huang Yize change.

Huang Yize said in a low tone, “Bilu, you must be tired from driving. Sit down and rest for a while. I can do this myself.”

Yun Bilu lowered her head as a glint flashed across her eyes. When she raised her head, she said innocently, “Huang Yize, I’m your girlfriend. It’s been a long time since I saw you. I miss you a lot, so just let your girlfriend take care of you this time, okay?”

Yun Bilu wanted to take this chance to check if he was really injured. She was worried beyond measure and afraid that he was forcing himself.

Huang Yize looked at Yun Bilu’s expression. There was a high chance that if he did not agree, she would be unhappy.

It has been a long time since Huang Yize saw her, so naturally, he missed her as well. He couldn’t bear to go against her wishes, and more than anything, he couldn’t bear to upset her.

So he could only nod in agreement.

Yun Bilu happily took off Huang Yize’s coat before proceeding to remove his shirt. However, Huang Yize grabbed Yun Bilu’s hands.

How could he not understand what this girl was trying to do?

He smiled bitterly deep down, but he could only lower his voice intentionally and say, “If you continue, I might do something.”

Yun Bilu’s eyes shone radiantly, and the corners of her mouth lifted. “Sure.” Her tone sounded as if she was looking forward to it as well.

It was the first time Huang Yize did not know how to deal with this girl. She had never followed the norm. If she really saw his injury, he was afraid that it would hurt her and upset her.

His girl should remain carefree and without worries since she lost her grandfather, which had already saddened her immensely.

He didn’t want her to be upset again because of anything else. Also, more than anything, he didn’t want to be the cause of her unhappiness.

Huang Yize could only soften his tone. “I haven’t eaten breakfast, so I’m hungry.”

Hearing that, Yun Bilu’s heart softened as it ached for him. “Okay, I will make you something.”

After she spoke, Huang Yize turned around to change in the bedroom. “I will be waiting to try your culinary skills.”

Yun Bilu stared at her empty hands. The warmth on her fingertips remained. A little more and she could have removed his shirt to check if he was injured.

The more Huang Yize tried to hide, the more uneasy Yun Bilu felt.

However, thinking of how he said he was hungry, Yun Bilu could only go to the kitchen to prepare something. Filling his stomach was the priority. After that, she would find another way to find out if he was injured.

After Huang Yize changed into casual clothes, he went to the living room. He could see Yun Bilu in the kitchen from where he was.

Huang Yize sighed. Actually, he really couldn’t bear to make her busy, but he had no other choice.

Furthermore, he wanted to try her dishes. It had been a long time since he could relax.

Huang Yize sat on the sofa, and before long, he fell asleep.

When Yun Bilu came out from the kitchen after cooking, she saw Huang Yize sleeping tiredly on the sofa.

She walked over silently and looked at his exquisite features. She missed him so much, and looking at him sleeping so tiredly made her incredibly sad.

Yun Bilu grasped at the spot above her heart. It was uncomfortable as it ached for him.
